Ever After Fantasies

The following morning, Apple was in the school library researching the cases of gay princes and princesses that Raven had mentioned.

“She was telling the truth,” said Apple after having finished at least the fifth book on the subject.

“Can’t believe that I’ve never known about this, and now I have to apologize to Raven so much,” she said while rubbing her eyes with the palm of her hounds out of frustration.

“Whoa, what’s got you so upset that you would ruin your makeup?” came a voice from behind the blonde. Once she moved her hands and turned around, Apple found the source of the voice to be Briar.

“Hi Briar, I was just researching something that Raven told me last night and just can’t believe that she was right,” said Apple.

“Wait, those books are on the history of gay fairy tails… are you saying that you didn’t know about the gay community?” asked a shocked Briar. 

“Raven called it, I’ve been so sheltered that I haven’t even heard of something this big or that affected my family,” said Apple while staring down at the table full of books. 

“What do you mean by your family?” asked Briar. 

“Apparently a past Snow White was gay and married a normal towns person, did you not know about that one?” asked Apple. 

“No, but what hexactly did Raven say to you to prompt you to start looking all of this up?” asked Briar. 

“I was all upset about Daring not being my Prince Charming and one thing led to another and she revealed that you have been dating Faybelle since that whole thing happened with the Epic Winter thing,” said Apple. 

“Wow, the two of us haven’t even really been hiding it that much and you didn’t even realize?” asked Briar. 

“Yeah, how blind… wait a minute,” said Apple as she went from a self disappointed smile to complete shock. 

“If a past Snow White was gay and married a woman, then how has the family line continued?” asked Apple as she looked over at Briar who quickly caught on. 

“I… I don’t know,” said Briar. The two then went to work to see how the ancestor of the White family was able to continue the family line.
