Chapter 1. Is it Love?
9 years later....
Tomorrow is my 15th birthday (March 31st). I am so excited and the wonders of what awaits me. Maybe Splinter will let me go to the surface with the guys....and with Leo especially.
Leo and I are laying on the couch together (it's not what you think) watching Space Heroes. He is sitting up and has his back on the arm rest with me nestled between his legs. He has his arms around me and stares at me during commercials. I pretend like I don't notice.
We just got done training and it's almost time for bed. I kicked Race's ass again for like the 3rd time this week. He's passed at me, but he will get over it by morning.
"Time for bed!" Splinter yells from his room. We all say night and ok. I move so Leo can get up and I put my arms out. My signal as a child for him to carry me. He smiles down at me and lifts me into his arms. He carries me to his room.
Ever since i was 6, i slept with Leo in his room. I could never sleep in my room due to my nightmares. I get in my spooning position and he mimics me.
"Goodnight", he hesitates for a second," I love you Boo." I smile at my nickname. Blue didn't have a ring to it due to my eyes, but Boo sure did.
"Goodnight and I love you too, Leo" i said and I couldn't help but smile when he planted a gentle, sweet kiss on my face. I kept smiling to myself from Leo's gestures. I fell asleep with a little grin on my face wondering.... "Is this love?"
