Chapter 19: Doom
“This is perfect.” Dib purred, the voice modifier box pressed against his throat by a loose leather strap around his neck making his voice that of his father. “They don’t suspect a thing. I knew they wouldn’t.” The turtleneck his father had always been so fond of hid the protective mask he was wearing, and the Irken biohazard suit was hidden by the long white holographic trenchcoat and large black boots. His eyes were narrowed behind the holographic goggles as he began to install the disease-ridden filters, while Zim attached the cultured oxygen tanks to the air filtration system.
Zim was holographically disguised as a long-legged female, with straight jet black hair that went down to the middle of her back, and piercing green eyes. Standing up, he went over to Dib and stood behind him, watching as he put the grate back on.
“Stupid, stinking humans.” Zim snickered.
Dib chuckled. “Yeah…I wonder how long it’ll take them to realize how royally screwed they are…”
As they left the building, Dib looked over at Zim, grinning behind the turtleneck and quirking a brow. “You look damn sexy like that.”
Zim scowled, the holographic green eyes flashing. “Keep your dirty comments to yourself, human.”
