Light from the Mobian son hadn't touched the village of Knothole as Sentinal's recharge cycle ended.  An internal sensor was alarming him to a transporter tracer.

'Shit, I'm being traced.  Better lead the fuckers away from Knothole,' the echidna thought and quietly left Bunnie's hut, not knowing that the rabbit in question was up and had seen his quick departure.

'C'mon, c'mon, beam down,' Sentinal thought in a crouch.

The transporter deposited the person and the echidna growled in anger.

"Katella(1)," he growled.

"I should have known you'd be dumped off here," the huntress growled.

You want to go," he challenged, letting his claws out, "let's go!"

"My pleasure."

'Sugah can haul when he wants to,' Bunnie thought to herself.  'Why did he take off like that?'

"Do you think I'll let you touch me with those adamantium claws of yours?"

"You can't keep avoiding my claws forever, Katella," Sentinal snarled.

'Oh please, like I'll let you cut into me," the female bounty hunter countered.

"Bitch," he hissed and swung for her flesh again, "you forget that you are on my home planet.  I have the home field advantage."

"You think I care about a little thing like you having the home field, I'm a bounty hunter, I don't care where I have to kill."

She started attacking his left side, hoping to get in a lucky shot on his eye.

'Who is he fighting?' Bunnie thought as she watched Sentinal fighting what to be a female wearing heavy body armor.

He had finally gotten the bounty hunter bitch on her back and had the points of his claws on her throat.

"You were always second best, and in our business, second best just doesn't cut it," Sentinal growled.

"If I'm second best," she began and her knee crashed into his groin, making the echidna fall off of her, "then why am I the only one that can survive fighting you?"

Katella pounced, knocking the echidna onto her his back and started trying to damage his left eye.  Her attack was stopped by a metal fist sending her into a nearby tree.

"Y'all need to fight someone that'll fight back," Bunnie growled.

"So, no wonder you ran from where you were recharging.  You finally found yourself a female," Katella taunted.

"Leave her out of his!" Sentinal railed.

"Don't think so,"  Katella retorted and armed herself.

"Get out of here!" Sentinal barked at the rabbit, but Katella fired off a blue blast from her weapon.  Sentinal dove to knock Bunnie out of the way, but the weapon's blast hit her.

'Sentinal is mostly bio-tech, but those limbs of his girl are just normal tech and are now useless hunks of metal,' Katella thought with a smirk.

"Bunnie?" Sentinal quietly asked.  "Can you move?"

"I think so...gaahhhh! what happened to mah arms!?"

'What the fuck..they are fur instead of metal,' Katella pondered.

"They've been de-roboticized..." Sentinal began, "give me that gun," Sentinal growled, extending his claws.

"Uh...time for a retreat!" Katella shouted, pressed a button on her belt and vanished.

"What did that ole thing did to me?" Bunnie asked.

"C'mon, we'll figure that out when we get to Knothole," Sentinal said.

"The ring didn't work?" Sally asked.

"No, it didn't...I'm worried Sal.  Did the use of the deep power stones do something to me?" Sonic asked.

"Here," she said as she handed him the ring, "now, let's both touch it."

"What...?"

"I've think this will work, just trust me."

"Ok Sal," Sonic said and the two touched the ring and a white light surrounded them for a moment until Sally pulled her hand from the ring.

"As I thought."

"What?"

"We have to use a power ring to waken the deep power we've adsorbed."

"Sally!" Sentinal shouted before coming into the hut, Bunnie hot on his heals.  "We've got a problem."

Well, the weapon she used de-roboticized you , Bunnie, but I don't know how long it'll be like that," Sally said.

"I'll make sure to grab that bitch's weapon next time she's here," Sentinal growled.

"How y'all know she'll show up again?" Bunnie asked.

"She can't stand the fact that she can't kill me, so she'll be back, trust me," Sentinal replied.

Sally sighed.  Answers to two of their problems had just come in the strangest of ways.
