Miraculous Cursed

A couple of minutes later, Kagami and her mother were in full protective gear and about to fight. 

“Are you sure about this, Kagami?” asked Marinette as they stood on the sideline with Adrien. 

“This is something that has actually been coming for a long time now,” said Kagami. She then turned around and faced her mother, both taking their stances. The match then began, Kagami was fast to attack, but her mother managed to dodge each attack.

“How is she able to do that?” asked Marinette.

“She’s trained to hear each of her opponents strikes, she’ll know each of Kagami’s attacks before they come,” said Adrien.

“You’ll never be able to hit me like that!” said Tomoe as she dodged again. However, it was at this time that she went on the attack and went to strike Kagami in the back.

“Time to end this,” she said. 

“Couldn’t agree more,” said Kagami who managed to dodge at the last second by spinning to the left and thrusting her sword into her mother’s chest.

“First point goes to Kagami,” said Adrien.

“Back to our positions,” said Kagami.

“No, the win goes to you,” said Tomoe before forfeiting to the surprise of the three teens.

“Why, I only got one hit on you, it’s too early to call it now,” said Kagami.

“But you managed to land a blow which you never have against me, if being with the two of them can make you try this hard then I will bless your relationship,” said Tomoe.

“And I apologize for what I said about your parents, Miss. Dupan-Chang,” said Tomoe as she bowed to Marinette.

“I… it’s alright,” said Marinette. The teens then went to leave and once they were gone, Tomoe dropped down onto the floor.

“Ma’am!” said a bodyguard as he ran over.

“I’m fine, my daughter just got me in a sore spot on my chest,” said Tomoe.

“And no word… of this is to be said to her, I don’t want her to blame… herself for my injury,” she said while coughing a little. Meanwhile, outside the door to Kagami’s room.

“Do you think your mom is alright, I never took her as the type to give up so easily,” said Marinette.

“You’re right, something is up with her, but I know that there is no point in fighting with her about it now that I fought her earlier,” said Kagami before walking out in her normal clothes.

“By the way, you two didn’t have to stand out here and wait for me, you could have come in,” she said with a teasing smile.

“Not while you were changing we couldn’t,” said Adrien.

“It’s not like you haven’t seen it all already,” said Kagami. Both Adrien and Marinette then started to blush at that remark.

“By the way, she’s supposed to be leaving next week for business again, so maybe you two would like to come back over again?” she asked while giving them a smug grin.

“Alright,” said the two.
