The Fan

Him cackled maniacally as he slowly absorbed Bubbles' powers, keeping the girl restrained with his tail. "I'll admit that you gave me a little trouble but now!" He licked his lips in anticipation. His expression changed when Bubbles' eyes snapped open. "WHAT!?!"

Bubbles snapped her jaws shut, severing the intruding tentacle that had invaded her mouth.

"GYAAAAAA!!!!" Him reeled back, relinquishing his hold on Bubbles just enough for her to escape. "YOU BITCH!"

Bubbles gagged, vomiting up the squiggling intruder. "Gross!" She wiped her mouth. "That was a pretty underhanded trick, Him!"

Him grinned. "No matter. I absorbed more than enough energy to defeat you!" Indeed, his body was engulfed in a crimson aura. "Time to finish this, mortal!" In a massive explosion of light, Him summoned the entirety of his evil power. "The end of your physical life is near and the beginning of your eternal suffering is at hand!"

Bubbles scowled. This wasn't going to be easy. *This is it. The fate of Townsville....and the world lies in my hands!* Bubbles screamed as her body cackled with energy; the combined power of all three Powerpuff Girls. "You might of been able to steal some of my power, but it won't change the outcome of this fight! Your going down, Him! For good!" With a primal scream Bubbles and Him flew at one another, knowing that this battle was about to come to an end.


Lenny dodged Utonium's attacks with ease, laughing the entire time. "Ha! Is that the best you can do?" Lenny rushed forward, slamming into Utonium head first. As the Professor went careening into the street, Lenny laid waste to the area with a volley of energy blasts. He could make out Utonium, retreating from the explosions. "That's it! Run! RUN!!" He fired another barrage of energy projectiles. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA!! DIE!!" Buildings, cars, and people. None were safe from Lenny's crazed assault.

Luckily, Brick's fist put an end to Lenny's unmerciful attack.

"Nice one, dude!" Butch exclaimed. Boomer nodded in agreement.

The look in Lenny's eyes was nothing short of complete insanity. "You wanna piece of me? Do ya!?" He flew at Brick, slashing with his wicked claws. The Rowdyruff Boys scattered in all directions as Lenny attacked viciously. "I'll rip you apart!" He chased down Boomer, tackling him in midair and slashing wildly at the boy's back. Brick and Butch knocked the crazed man off their brother, but not before he left a patch of horrible scars on the Boomer's back.

"Oww...watch out you guys!" Boomer hissed through clenched teeth. "He's fast!"

"Your gonna pay for that!" Butch snarled, as he and his brother took their stances in front of their fallen brother. They took of like a pair of rockets, attacking Lenny simultaneously. The three battled furiously in the air, exchanging their fair share of punches and kicks before Lenny managed to get a hold of Brick's leg, using him as a baseball bat to knock Butch into a building.

"Oww...." Brick was still trying to shake out of his daze. He looked up to find himself staring into Lenny's bloodshot eyes. "Uh oh...."

Lenny most certainly would have finished Brick off if Utonium wouldn't had chosen that exact moment to drop in, literally. Utonium slammed Lenny's skull with a double-fisted blow that sent Lenny plummeting downwards, crashing through the street.

"Now!" Utonium shouted, powering up his lasers as the Rowdyruff Boys joined his side.

Brick grinned, realizing Utonium's plan. "You heard him, boys!" Together the group fired their most powerful energy beams at the crater where Lenny lie, obliterating it. All was silent as the group waited anxiously for any sign of Lenny. When seconds turned into minutes, Brick laughed. "Hey, we did it!"

"Yeah, we kicked some serious butt!" Boomer exclaimed.

Utonium scowled. *He didn't suffer nearly as long as he deserved,* he thought. "The girls! I have to go back to the Mayor's!" Utonium rocketed towards Townsville Hall with the Rowdyruff Boys close behind.

Ash-black clouds hung over the ocean, and lightning flashed wildly. The scene definitely fit the chaos that had taken place over the past hour, and now the winds had grown increasingly violent. The battle between Him and Bubbles was about to come to a violent close as the two soared towards one another.

Suddenly Him came to a screeching halt, sending all his vile energy outwards in the form of a massive energy beam. His sinister cackle drowned out the booming thunder.

Bubbles' eyes widen. There was no way to avoid that beam at her rate of speed. Him had suckered her into a suicide dive. Gritting her teeth, Bubbles punched forward, putting all her power into her fists. With a determined look in her eyes, Bubbles collided with Him's beam, tearing through it as if it were toilet-paper.

Him's eyes nearly bugged out of him skull. "NO! That can't be!!" He'd put everything into that shot. He could only watch in horror as Bubbles emerged from his final attack; eyes locked on him, and for that brief moment Him didn't see Bubbles soaring towards him. He saw all three Powerpuff Girls flying in to save the day. To defeat him again after all these years.

All that energy and speed left Bubbles with one place to go; through Him. Like a superpowered bullet, Bubbles tore into Him's chest, exploding out his back. Him convulsed once, twice, and a final time before his body exploded, leaving behind red mist that was blown away by the wind.

Bubbles came to a stop, clutching her chest as she breathed deeply. "I-I did it...." she muttered, turning to head back to Townsville. Her energy was nearly depleted, meaning it would be a slow trek home. A small smile formed as her hair began to change, becoming blonde once again.
