The following evening, Adrien and Marinette had gone with Kagami to her place to talk to her mother.

“What is it that you wish to tell me, Kagami?” asked Tomoe as they all sat on the floor of the fencing room.

“I want to inform you that I’m dating Adrien again,” said Kagami.

“I see, but why is that Dupain-Cheng girl here as well?” asked Tomoe. 

“Because I’m also dating her,” said Kagami as her grip tightened on her skirt, causing it to scrunch up.

“You’re what?” asked Tomoe who was mad but at the same time believed she heard her daughter wrong so kept a level head.

“I am dating Adrien and Marinette, mother, I love both of them,” said Kagami.

“How can you say such a thing, don’t you realize how much shame this brings to our family?!” asked Tomoe.

“All I’ve done my whole life is try to bring honor to our family by learning from you and winning competitions, this is something I want,” said Kagami. 

“Plus Adrien and Marientte’s parents have accepted our relationship,” she said. 

“That’s surprising for Gabriel Agreste, but those low life bakers are just alright with it because they can get money from us,” said Tomoe. This instantly enraged Marinette and Adrien, but Kagami spoke before either of them could. 

“Do not talk about her parents like that, the two of them are nice and gentle people who are not low life bakers, they are Paris’s number one bakers!” said Kagami who seemed to be more angered than either of the other two. 

“Hmph, and here I am the blind one yet I can see more than you who has good eyes,” said Tomoe. 

“Seeing how there’s no other way, how about the two of us have a match here and now, if I win you will accept my relationship with them, if not then I’ll leave this house and never use the name Tsurugi again,” said Kagami as she stood up. 

“You do remember that you have never been able to defeat me even once, yes?” asked Tomoe while also standing. 

“I know, but I also won’t allow anyone to disrespect my girlfriend and her family,” said Kagami, which made Marinette blush slightly while smiling. 

“Alright then, I’ll give you a match ,” said Tomoe.
