Fun in the Sun
Moody took the opposite end of her bag and let all of the heavy books fall on the carpet floor of her dorm after her little visit to the town's library. It was nice and quiet there, and so many books! Moody sighed at ease, happy to be home. She let her knees fall to the floor as well and grabbed a book, titled "Millitary History, Machinery, and Plans for the future" she licked her thumb and searched pages to pages, finding valueble information on every single pages. Her eyes widen; Dammit, these filthy humans are just as smart as Irkens, with the technologies and all. It was that one time when Moody was doing the dishes in the dorm's built-in kitchen, and heard on the radio about scientists and technitians building cars that can actually fly, just like an Irken ship, that triggered the idea of the human's rapid speed of learning.
Moody's eyes narrowed. She must be quirky and brainstorm for the plan to conquer over, or otherwise the humans would be noticing. 'Zim and I must think this over,' Her eyes wander around, 'The humans have so much greater... "stuff", now than half-decade ago.' She paused, her finger twirling her curled end of her floppy antenas, 'And then there's the Dib,' Her eyes narrowed even more, 'His father is just getting famous and famous each day, building great stuff and being such a genius. What if...'Her eyes widen horrorfying, 'What if Membrane starts to believe that Dib-boy? Beiliving his paranormal studies? What if he starts giving Dib the tech he needs to stop me and Zim?'
She shook her head, "No!"
She bared her teeth as she skipped pages to pages, reading and learning on the way, her brain getting tense every minute of it. She felt as if the words in the pages were eating her brain rather making her "smarter". Soon her reading was stopped and her head was exploding with pain. She groaned and massage her temples. So much stress! It was then Zim came in with a folder in his hand and a poop soda can in the other, sipping away. He quirked an eye once he saw Moody groaning in pain, "Something the matter?"
She looked up for a minute before shaking her head negativley, "No, no... Don't worry about me. We must be worry about our mission."
Zim nodded before quirking an antena (once he transformed into his normal Irken self) "And how are we going to do this again?"
Moody widen her eyes as well as her jaws, not believing this true. Can it be possible that Zim is slowing down? That he's giving up? Never! She scowled, "Don't toy with our mission, Zim! We have work to do, and drinking poop soda will not get us anywhere!" She stood up, dusting imaginary dust off from her shirt, "But since I read as much as I can about the millitary, it's YOUR turn to find me some juicy resources." She places her hands on her hips, "Were getting close to your goal, Zim... Is that what you want?" She lowered her head, "The Dib is hot on our heels, Zim... And his father will someday stop thinking him crazy and start thinking of him right about us. Don't forget that, Zim."
Zim stood in silence and stared at her longilly. She has a point. He lifted one arm, carrying the folder, up to her face. Moody narrowed one blue eye at him, "What's that?"
Zim grinned saditly, waving the folder slightly, "Our juicy resources..."
"... I see....Oh... Oh ho, this is perfect!" Moody grinned evilly, "Just perfect!" Zim wrapped an arm around her shoulders, "I knew you can turst me when it comes to power and destruction. I'm just too smart." He shakes his head. Moody's grin soften to a small smile before planting a kiss on his cheek, "We are so close towards your goal, your dreams..."
Zim blinked at the paper, then looked at her sparkling sapphire eyes.
Moody gasped as Zim leaned in and kissed her lips softly. He pulled away and touched her face with his claws gently, "Our... goal. Our's." Moody smiled, nodded, and they both kissed in the darkness of the night.
Moody sat by the edge of the bed as Zim took out a ruler and prepared a small blackboard he just brought... Well, stolen, actually. Hey, that old man back at the shop was sleeping, what does Zim has to do?
He took a chalk and begin to draw the planet Earth. He tapped the tip of the ruler at the drawing while watching Moody, "This is Earth." He draws a rather much, much bigger circle, "And this," He smirks, "Is the sun."
Moody nodded. Zim took the chalk and drew something on the board again. Another circle. "This is Mars, a planet next to us, Earth." He draws a space ship (Like those old ones you see mostly in cartoons... "Five, four, three, two, ones... blast off!" Theyre big and white, resembled like a giant bullet, remember?) "And this... THIS, our most important part of this project, the spaceship!"
Moody smiked, "I don't get it."
Zim grinned, "Well, keep her antenas alert." He tapped the ruler against the drawing of Earth, "Earth is as heavy as hell, due to the gravitations in here." He then tapped the spaceship, "In order to move the Earth without blowing up, we must move Mars carefully to the Earth, sort of like "shoving it", towards the humans' death."
"So," Moody clapped her hands, "You think this spaceship that the humans created will surely move the Mars? Mars look as big as Earth, and sure as "gravitating" as well."
Zim cleared his throat, "Why, yes... But perhaps I haven't told you about my experience with Mars..."
After a half and hour of explaining the story about the mistake of actually pulling Mars and "squishing" Earth but failed because of Dib, Moody could not help but laugh her head off. Zim shrugged, "I was young.... immature, stupid."
Moody wiped a tear from the rim of her eyes, "No, I'm sorry, I'm sorry... Ha ha!" She giggled as she fell on her bed, "Oh my Irk! Is that what you did!?"
Zim sniggered, "Yes..."
Moody's laughter died down eventually and she sat up, becoming serious again, "So you want to pilot the ship while I pilot Mars?"
Zim nodded, "Exactly."
Moody nodded, her eyelids almost covering her eyes in a sad, worried, "How much time?"
Zim sighed, "Were three months away tilll summer time... The time of year when were very close to the sun... And we must think of a way to possess the ship before summer comes," He takes a deep breath, "According to my calculations, the hottest time of the year is July the thirtyth, the time when Sun is just so close it burns the humans' skin."
Moody looked at the floor, "Okay," She looked up and grinned confidently at Zim, "Let's get to work then!"
