The Fan

A/N: Sorry for the long wait. Other forces were at work that I couldn't control. Here's the next chapter!

Buttercup watched Lenny as he paced across what used to be the Mayor's office, thinking of the many ways she'd enjoy watching him suffer. Of course she couldn't hurt him. Lenny's power had risen with each Powerpuff Girl his master Him absorbed, making him twice as deadly. So she settled for glaring at him with unbridled hatred.

Blossom had been eerily quiet ever since the ''incident.'' Ms. Bellum had crawled to her side and tried to console Blossom, but it was no use. No one could blame her, having her sister...pleasure her while two villains laughed and mocked her. Blossom had rested her head in Bellum's lap, keeping her eyes closed, but Buttercup didn't think she was asleep.

"Don't be sad," Lenny replied, smiling. "Soon you'll be reunited with your sister."

"Your going to pay for this!" Ms. Bellum snapped. "What you've done is unforgivable!"

Lenny was in the Mayor's face in a flash. "Who do you think you are?"

"I'm the Mayor of this city!" Ms. Bellum hissed, hate in her eyes. "And you are nothing but a coward!" It was obviously not the smartest thing to say, but Ms. Bellum was beyond rational thinking. "You think your so big because you raped a bunch of girls! Why don't you pick on someone your own age!"

Lenny was more than happy to oblige, seizing a handful of Bellum's fiery hair and dragging her away from the girls. He ignored Buttercup's profanities and Blossom's crying as he hoisted the Mayor into the air with one hand. "I am not a coward!" He threw her clear across the room, sending her into a wall which let out an inhuman moan of protest as Bellum's body slammed into it.

Ms. Bellum groaned as pain surged up her left arm which was now bent at an odd angle. "Is....that...it?" She struggled to stand.

Buttercup trembled with rage. *Why is she.....of course!* Now that Bellum had Lenny's full attention, Buttercup and Blossom could make their escape. She crawled to Blossom, placing a hand over her mouth. "Shhh..." They stood and made their way to the door, ever so slowly.

Lenny slammed the back of his hand across Bellum's face, watching with amusement as she struggled to stand up and face him. "Anything else to say?"

Though her hair hid her face, Lenny could practically see her smirk. "No wonder you attack girls. You hit like a bitch!" *That's it girls! Just a little further!*

As if he could read her mind, Lenny suddenly turned, firing a bolt of electrical energy at the girls' retreating forms. Both Blossom and Buttercup shrieked as their bodies were wracked with white-hot pain, knocking them out almost instantly. "Nice try!" Lenny sneered, raising his hand to strike Bellum down for the final time.

That's when something crashed through the ceiling of the chamber, catching the gazes of both Lenny and Ms. Bellum. As the smoke cleared, Bellum's eyes lit up at the sight before her.

Professor Utonium in all his cybersuit glory, had made his entrance, rushing to his fallen daughters. "Girls!" He knelt at their side, making sure they were still breathing. When he was certain they were okay Utonium stood to face Lenny. "You'd better let her go!"

Lenny's eyes narrowed, glowing crimson. "I remember you," he hissed. "Your the one who let those brats ruin all my precious collector toys!" He tossed Ms. Bellum aside. "YOU RUINED MY LIFE NOW I'LL RUIN YOURS!" He literally flew at Utonium, tackling him through a wall, eliciting an agonized wail from the demolished wall. "I'll kill you!" The two separated, hovering in midair.

Utonium sneered. "Bring it!"


Boomer tore through a green slime-monster, splattering it all over several buildings. "Haha! Take that!" he shouted, triumphantly.

"Cool, dude!" Brick replied. "But watch this!" Heaving a deep breath, Brick let loose a stream of flames from his mouth that incinerated a rather scary looking snake beast.

The green ruff snorted. "Man, that's nothing! Check this out!" With super-speed, Butch soared through the sky, slicing through the right wing of a giant vampire bat, knocking out another scaly beast with a well placed kick, and obliterating a third monster with his eyebeams.

"I think that's all of em!" Brick surveyed the area. "What a mess."

"So whadda we do now?" Boomer asked, tilting his head. "We creamed all tha monsters!"

"Well, we could help Bubbles," Butch said.

Brick cringed in response, remembering her cold stare when she'd flew past them earlier. "Um....how bout not." A grin appeared on his face. "We could back up the Utonium guy."

"Yeah!" Butch kicked and punch at the air. "Let's do it!" The Rowdyruff Boys streaked across the dark sky towards their next destination.


Him and Bubbles' fists clashed, lighting up the sky from their awesome power. Him retreated a few paces, firing a volley of energy bolts. "Give it up! You can't win!"

Bubbles smirked, letting out a deafening cry that created a sonic wave, deflecting Him's energy bolts. "Your gonna have to do better than that!" Bubbles had appeared behind Him, slamming her fist into his back then bringing both fists down on his head, sending Him splashing into the ocean they'd been fighting over. "Like that!" When Him had yet to emerge from the water Bubbles scowled. "I'm losing patience." Silence was the only response. "You can't hold your breath that long!"

The ocean below exploded as something emerged, rocketing towards Bubbles. An energy ball! Bubbles dodged the attack, gritting her teeth in anger. "Grrrr, Him!" In a flash he was in her face, pointing his hand directly at her. "SHIT!"

Him blasted her at pointblank range, causing Bubbles to cover her eyes, shrieking in pain. Taking advantage of her temporary blindness, Him gave Bubbles a solid punch to the gut, putting as much power as possible into it. Bubbles' mouth gaped open as the air was driven out of her body; precisely what Him had wanted. In seconds Bubbles' mouth was invaded by that tentacle; the tentacle that had claimed her sisters powers. Before she could protest, energy cackled from her body to Him's.

"It won't be long now!" Him laughed. "I will be invincible!"
