(----) True to his word, Dread Wing soon gave Peak the needed paper. The teen wrote down all he could think of to describe what he needed and even included detailed drawings in the hopes it would help. After handing all of that over to Dread, Peak honestly hadn't expected anything for a couple of days. So it was a complete surprise to him when Dread Wing called him into the main bedroom and then gave Peak a large rolled up something. The teen blinked at it, looking up at Dread, “Uh....what's this?” The mutant gave him a little smile, “It's a mattress. Just unroll it and lay it out on your cot. I figured it must have started getting uncomfortable by now and I thought you'd like it. Unless, of course, you wish to start sharing my bed instead?” Peak went an amazing shade of red in record time, barely recognizing that Dread was teasing (or was he?) as the teen squeaked out, “No! I'm good, thanks! I'm uh, I'm going to try this out now!” Darting back into his room, Peak closed the cloth door as fully as he could, trying to will his heart rate down as he did so. While he had slept in Dread's bed once, several days ago, he'd never done it since and just the idea of doing so with Dread Wing was enough to nearly bring on a panic attack, innocent sleeping or.....otherwise. Groaning to himself, Peak put down the bundle and made himself go to his cot, stripping it of its blanket and the pillow. With how hot Warnado was, Peak had found very quickly that he only needed the one blanket to sleep with and had stored the extras that he'd been given under the cot itself. Going back to the bundle, he picked it up and carried it over to the cot. Setting it down on the cot, he pulled out his knife to cut the twine holding it shut and then put it away so that he could help the mattress unroll, flipping it over to help it lay flat. When he was done, it still curled at the corners but that would be smoothed out with time and use. Testing his new mattress with one hand, Peak found it was softer than he would have liked but hey, it was certainly better than the cot by itself. Taking out one of his extra blankets, he shook it out and laid it over the mattress to use as a bed sheet before he got his pillow and actual blanket to make his new bed with. When he was done, it actually looked somewhat decent. Sighing to himself, Peak sat down on his new bed, grimacing a little as he sunk into it. Now that that was done, he had absolutely nothing else to do. He'd already finished his self-imposed training and until the next 'touch training' session with Dread, the rest of his day was empty. Maybe he should ask Dread for an art book or something? Peak yawned and made a mental note to do just that, after he had a nap. It was just so easy for him to get tired lately...
