The red headed ground squirrel laid on top of her blue hedgehog. The couple was blissfully happy. Sally's father wasn't too thrilled about his daughter doing this, but even the king of Mobius had to bow to ancient Mobian law.
Sally nuzzled Sonic under his neck and rubbed his belly. He moans in delight, enjoying his wife's touch. His body was completely uncurled, a dangerous position for a hedgehog to be in if he were in the clutches of a predator. However, in the tender loving embrace of his life mate, it was a most pleasurable position to be in.
She lifted her head and pressed her cheek against his own. Her hand drifted down to between his legs and she started stroking his inner thigh.
"There's something I need to tell you," she began.
"Mmmmm?" he replied distractedly.
"Your uncle confessed to me something that I think I should tell you. It has to do with the fact of how you got that speed of yours."
"My uncle knows why I can run like I do?"
"Yes, and unfortunately, this bring out another Acorn skeleton," she said and wrapped both her arms around him.
"I'm not going to like this am I?"
"I didn't like it when I heard it," Sally said and Sonic sighed.
"Give it to me Sal," Sonic encouraged.
"There were several medical problems your mother went through when she had Manic," she began.
"Yeah, I know that."
"It damaged her ability to have children the normal way."
"'Normal way'?" Sonic asked confused.
"Mating wouldn't get her pregnant. Your mother had resigned herself to that, but then the Great War took a black turn. Our side needed a weapon, but not just any weapon, a living weapon."
Sonic bit his lip. He wasn't liking where this was going, but he needed to hear it. He was glad that it was Sally telling him this.
"You were genetically created, but your mother's womb was used to birth you and not a lab."
"My speed isn't natural then?"
"Not a natural trait that a normal hedgehog would develop. Your use of the power rings wasn't a fluke either. That was for you to use against the ones we were fighting in the war if it were to go on that long. However, you know what ended the war."
"Yeah," Sonic said, knowing that Robotnik had been the one to put an end to the war, but started a whole new one later.
"You were supposed to be the perfect soldier, but once the war had turned in our favor, you were raised like a normal child."
"Doubt I would have been that useful in that war."
"No one will never know that and I'm glad of that," she said and kissed him. He shuddered, enjoying it. "It does explain your almost constant need to have my attention."
"What do ya mean?"
"You were supposed to be loyal to the crown," she began and kissed him again, "but because you met me, you are only loyal to me."
"Uh...oh," Sonic said. "Wait..."
"Your feelings for me are real, if not a little fanatical at times, you jealous thing you."
"Hey, in my opinion there ain't no one worthy enough besides me," Sonic defended and Sally giggled.
"And, I'm the only one who seems to be able to put up with that massive ego of yours," she teased and Sonic growled. However, his limbs went back to the state of jello, feeling his belly being rubbed yet again. He sighed. He knew that it would never be borrowing with her as his life mate.

"This is hard," Tails complained.
"Remember, your powers respond to a need, not a desire," Maria said. "What did you feel when you freed yourself and Sasha from Nack?"
"Well, he threatened Sasha and I felt like I needed to protect her, but I've never wanted to protect a girl before."
"You're getting older. Now, remember that feeling," Maria suggested.
"Right, Tails responded and concentrated on that one member.
"That's right, now steady," she encouraged. A light, magical glow surrounded Tails for a moment until he toppled over in exhaustion.
"That's...hard..." Tails panted out.
"It'll get easier the more you train," Maria said. Shadow stood off to the side, watching his other half train the fox and wondering if she was going to want her own children. He shook that thought off and continued his vigil.

"How can he be so powerful!?" Mogul asked.
"He does have Chaos's emerald," Naugus relayed.
"Yes, but he just got that power. It is as if he's got some natural ability to use powers of chaos emeralds."
"What will we do next?"
"We'll give Nack what he wants for that other overlander. We'll let Robotnik deal with Snively."
"And the black hedgehog?"
"He is far stronger than the blue one, but the blue one used the deep power stones. There may be another unforeseen problem if we don't keep a look out on him."
"Of course, Lord Mogul."

"Well, where's my payment?" Nack asked.
"Your payment," Mammoth Mogul began, "is this," he finished and snapped his fingers. The weasel, along with the rest of his men, were frozen in place. "Julian, you may turn them into robots."
Robotnik mumbled under his breath in frustration. He hated to be told what to do, but he couldn't go against both Mogul and Naugus, at least, not yet anyway. Turning them into robots wouldn't do, but killing the two magic users would get them off his back. As for his nephew, he'd throw him in a sell and let him out when he'd need him later.

"All of them?"
"All of them, princess. The whole lot of them were captured when they tried to make that deal for Snively and they were all captured. They probably are robots by now," Manic reported to Sally.
"Well, I wouldn't want that fate on anyone, but that's one less problem to deal with."
"What should I do now? Nack's gild of thieves was the largest one. The others are now going to go further underground and stay out of this."
"No more of your infiltration, you better stay here until your betrayal of Nack is forgotten."
"Alright! I've been wanting a vacation," manic celebrated and Sally shook her head. He was Sonic's brother. She glanced and saw out of the corner o her eye the training Tails was undertaking.
'With Sonic and Shadow's speed, Maria's magic, and Tails's magic, we might just win this,' she thought with a small smile and hope lighting her eyes.
