She stares in the mirror at her reflection. Becky closes her eyes trying to sort out her jumbled thoughts.
'Why am I doing this to myself? Why do I even entertain the idea of having him around?' she thinks. 'Because he's an alien like you.' she answers herself. 'Not to mention he's handsome, and a good kisser...,what am I thinking! He's also annoying, impulsive, an ass, uncontrollable...,that's it! I want to conquer him sexually...,but why?' she asks herself. 'Why would I want to conquer him sexually? Why can't I go back to liking Scoops?' she questions again. 'Because I don't want someone that'll expose my secret like Scoops would.' she answers herself once again. 'Tim is a different male from all the boys I know. He didn't come here to kill me, he just wanted to take me as his prisoner. After all the Lexiconians he's probably killed he didn't have orders to kill me, and why? I'm the last of the royal family that Huggy refuses to tell me about because knowing that would put me in danger. I wish I knew what he wanted from this...,' she sighs and heads for bed. The gym class had a field trip to some sort of custom built obstacle course that was supposed to test them.

"You've been quiet," Tim comments. Becky sighs, it was now or never.
"Just what do you want from this?" she asks. the pair were sitting the back of the bus so that they wouldn't be disturbed. Tim sighs and puts an arm around her drawing her close to him.
"You're tired of me playing with you aren't you?"
"Yes, no matter how much fun I think it is I'm tired of these head games." she says her voice gaining volume.
"Well...,do you really want to seriously try this? I could be re-called at any moment. My job as your body guard isn't permanent y'know."
"If my aunt is after me then you should be here permanently."
"Yeah, but that's military life for you. It'll change in a second." he finishes snapping his fingers. "But, messing around like this might just get us both into trouble. Ok, I'm willing to actually be a couple instead of a pair of teenagers that constantly flirts with each other."
"Thank you." she says and kisses him on the cheek. He sighs and continues to hold her against her.

"Excellent, they are sending in the first two...,Becky Botsford and Tim Drakesford. These two have the highest grades in gym class." Two Brains states.
"Uh boss, why are doing this?" the first henchman asks.
"I need to know her secret identity! And I need to find out that other guy's identity as well! Nocan and the Whammer didn't do their jobs right!" Two Brains rants.
"What are you going to do when you find out WordGirl's identity?" he asks.
"Blackmail...,I'll force her to help me or she'll be exposed for what she really is...,hahahahahaha!" Two Brains shouts. He then notices that Tobey and Violet were set into his maze. "Darn robotic genius, I ought to take him out as well."

"Tube maze?" Becky asks as the two crawl through a long, dark metal tube.
"Why do I get the feeling we're being set up?" Tim asks. The two then come to a three-way split. "Uh oh,"
"Which way?" she asks and Tim activates a narrow beam from his watch.
"The left one goes hard right, the right one goes hard to the left, and the middle one goes...,up at a 45 degree angle." he says.
"Ok, then which way?"
"Center, we'll head upward and the higher we can get the better we'll be off." he states.
"Center it is then." she says and the two crawl up the center tube, but the two hear a door slam shut behind them.
"We are being set up." Tim growls.
"Two Brains...,this reeks of his handy work."
"Ok, I'll follow your lead on this one. What do we do?"
"We try not to reveal what we truly are. C'mon, let's find a way out of this thing."

"That's right, keep crawling you two...," Two Brains says in glee. If he was right, those two would make it out first and they would trip the trap at the end.

"Phew, fresh air," Becky celebrates.
"Holy...,look over here," Tim says and Becky peers down over the edge of the rope bridge they were on. They could see a jumble of twists and turns as the two other paths crisscrossed and double back on themselves.
"I think the rest of our class are trapped down there." Tim states.
"C'mon, lets go." Becky states and the two make their way through the many paths of rope bridges.

"This is the dumbest thing I've been forced to do in gym class ever!" Tobey complains.
"Is destruction and complaining all you can do?"
"Huh? What are you talking about?"
"Why do the things you do?" she asks. Tobey grits his teeth. Violet was the strangest girl on the planet, no, in the galaxy! He had to add the galaxy because WordGirl wasn't from the planet and Violet had to be more strange than any girl from WordGirl's planet.
"We're lost in a tube maze and all you can think about is why I destroy things?" he asks disbelievingly.
"We've got to pass the time somehow." she replies with a smile.
"Doesn't anything bother you?"
"Hmmm, well, if someone is using the thesaurus in the library then I get a tad bit impatient, but otherwise nothing bothers me that much...,accept if someone is hurting my friends." she states.
"I should be able to figure a way out of this...,this...,thing! Unless...," he calms, "Two brains." he finishes gritting his teeth.
"Dr Two Brains? Why would he do this?"
"Like I've known for some time, WordGirl has to be posing as a student in our school. He's trying to trap her somehow in order to find her identity. Ooooh, if only I was allowed to bring my remote I'd smash this maze to bits!"
"Why hasn't anyone seen your father around?" she asks and Tobey bites his lip. For the first time in his life, he didn't want to talk.

"Whoa!" the two cry out sliding a long twist slide. Becky and Tim crash down into a pit of plastic balls.
"He built this thing like a fun maze!" Becky shouts as she starts swimming.
"This wasn't apart of my training!" he shouts following her through the river of plastic colored balls.
"I guess Decimal doesn't have amusement parks then?"
"No, we don't have time for that. we'd rather try and conquer Lexicon!" he replies catching up to her. The two eventually climb out of the ball bit and up a cargo net for ten feet or so. The slide had taken them from the rope bridge part of the maze to about thirty feet below the tube part. They get onto a metal platform and begin running. They hit a flight of stairs and keep running. They run through a door and then...,
"Ahhh!" the two shout falling through a trap door.

"Yes! Now, let's see if Becky Botsford is WordGirl and if that other kid is that X weapon." Two Brains states and presses a button.

"What the hell happened!?" Tim asks.
"The oldest trick in the book, the trapped door."
"Oh, I thought the oldest trick in the book was rolling a snowball down a large hill at your foe." Tim retorts. The two hear motors crank up and one of the walls start to close on them.
"Correction, that's the oldest trick in the book!" Becky shouts as the two run over to the far opposite wall.
"Any ideas?"
"Odds are Two Brains is waiting for us to break out thinking that we're WordGirl and the X weapon."
"Great, either reveal ourselves, or get crushed."
"I don't think he'll let us get crushed, but if we can fool him,"
"It's risky!"
"Yeah, but it's the only thing I can think of!"

"Maybe they weren't WordGirl and that X weapon." Two Brains says looking down at the passed out pair of Becky and Tim.
"What do we do with them, boss?" the henchman asks.
"Toss them on the far side of the maze, Someone will find them. C'mon, I need some cheese." Two Brains states and the henchmen carry out his orders.

"Owe, Becky?"
"Mmmm?
"Ok?"
"I'm hurting all over...,where are we!?" she shouts popping back to her feet and sees that it was night time.
"Shit!"
"Well, no one around...,Word up!" she shouts. Tim presses a button and his normal clothes switch to his Decimalian battle armor. the two fly away trying to come up with a good lie for how they escaped from the maze.
