"And just where have you been?" Nack spat.
"Hey man, I don't have to answer to you," Manic said cooly.
"Then, you won't mind coming with us on our raid of Knothole, and if they are ready for us, you're dead," Nack said with a vicious grin.

Most of the able body residents of Knothole were at the entrances to the village, awaiting the arrival of Nack and his group of thugs.
"Tails and Sasha secured?" Sally asked.
"Yep, they are in my hut with Sentinal," Bunnie answered.
"Bad time for a recharge cycle," Sally mumbled, but her thoughts were cut of by the sounds of dozens of hover bikes heading in their direction.

Sentinal sat up abruptly, startling the two children that were in the hut with him.
"Sentinal! they need help!" Tails shouted.
"What has happened?" Sentinal questioned as he readies his weaponry.
"Nack's group of raiders came just Like Manic said they would," Tails began..
"Shit," Sentinal quietly swore and peered out of the window with Sash and Tails to either side of him.
"They are trying to capture my Sister, but it looks like they are having a hard time with Sonic, Shadow and Maria out their," Sasha noted.
"You two stay in here and don't leave, I'm going to drive them out of Knothole," Sentinal growled.
"Uh oh, they are trying to break Snively out!" Tails shouted and Sentinal stormed out and the two continued to watch the chaos taking place before them.

The moment Sentinal was clear of Bunnie's hut, the echidna fired the rockets in his boots and lifted into the air.
"Sniper rifle mode," he growled, hoisting his weapon onto his left shoulder. Making sure his targeting sensors weren't out of adjustment, he started firing down upon Nack's men.

"What the hell? It's that damn echidna! Grab cue ball and let's get out of here!" Nack ordered. His group was taking a beating, especially from Shadow and Maria. Fortunately, they were armed enough to keep from being completely slaughtered. Sonic made an effort to grab Snively, but the almost near miss of a killing blast from Nack's weapon made him swerve and the group of bandits left.
Sentinal landed and he was immediately accosted by the King who looked ready to chew a SWAT-bot.
"You could have hit one of our people shooting like that!" the king ranted.
"Impossible. My targeting sensors are the most sophisticated piece of targeting technology know to Mobius," Sentinal countered.
"Apologies, princess, I didn't realize that they would try to use this as a test of my loyalty to them. I guess I won't be spying on them for you huh?" Manic asked with a grin. He had been shot, but fortunately, it wasn't fatal, so the green hedgehog would recover.
"You alright man?" Sonic asked, coming beside him. Few knew that the green hedgehog was the older brother of the blue hedgehog, and fewer knew the truth of why that was.
"Sally, I want him turned off right now!" the king demanded. Sally glared at her father, ready to have it out with him once again. Tails and Sasha came out, seeing that it was safe now, and Sasha shook her head at her father's stupidity.
"Wish I still had my plasma rifle...I'd would have put a hole through one of those dummies," Sasha quietly spat.
"You know how to fire something like that?" Tails asked.
"Yeah, I'm a pretty good sniper," Sasha said proudly and puffed out her chest and Tails laughed at the gesture and Sasha tackled him to the dirt and the two rolled around, wrestling while older daughter and father had another shouting match.
"Uh, shouldn't we stop them?" Sentinal questioned.
"Who, Tails and Sasha or the King and Sally?" Bunnie asked.
"The cubs aren't hurting each other, but the princess and her father look ready to kill each other," Sentinal remarked. Bunnie sighed. Until her father would let Sally be with her sugah-hog, this tension would remain between father and daughter.

Sally paces back and forth in her hut like a cage animal. Nicole sat on the desk, beeping and chirping as it tried to fulfill its task.
"One match found, Sally. There is one remaining survivor of the High Royal Mobian Court of Mobius," Nicole announced.
"Where?" Sally asked with hope.
"Northeast freedom fighter territory," Nicole reported. Sally sighed. They were the most furthest group in the entire network of freedom fighters.
"Give me all date on the remaining Justice," Sally requested. A plan was formulating in her mind. If this Justice was still living there, then there might still be away. Her father might not like it, but it was the best she could do. Her heart ached for Sonic and she could tell that Sonic was losing patience with the whole situation.

"Don't worry Sal, I'm heading for guard duty, no need to remind me," Sonic said while on his way to the ring pool.
"I have a plan I want to run by you...how long has it been since we've checked up on the Northeastern freedom fighters?" she asked.
"Been a while, Sal," Sonic said scratching his head. What was she up to?
"Listen, it takes one of our hover units two days to get there, but you said that you can get in a day, right?" Sally asked.
"Yeah, I've been through that way enough times that I could make it there blind folded," Sonic said with a confident grin.
"Listen," she began and moved in closer to him, "why don't the two of us go and check up on them by ourselves," she said and stroked the side of his face.
"Really? Just the two of us?" he asked hopefully and Sally smiled.
"Just the two of us," Sally confirmed.
"Cool, when do we leave?"
"Get Sentinal to cover for you, we're leaving the moment my father's head hits the pillow," Sally replied and Sonic's grin got bigger. This was going to be a fun little trip.
