Legalities & Warnings

I don't own King of the Hill. this story will have lemon content later on, so you've been warned. This takes place after the last episode...,Bobby is now attending TLHS.

He leaned against his locker, letting the cool metal cool his forehead off. the air conditioner wasn't working again, budget cuts, so it was sweltering inside of Tom Landry High. Bobby Hill, a junior, sighed to himself wondering if going to school out in the middle of a desert would be cooler. He knew he wouldn't get a reprieve from the heat due to the fact that he would be at wrestling practice today. He had tried out for the team just to get his dad off his back, and he made it. The coach, however, saw untapped potential in the large boy and he worked Bobby like a dog. Bobby had hated it at first, but seeing that it kept him out of the house and away from his mother constantly asking him whether or not he had a girlfriend, he had decided to work at it. His mother seemed to be obsessed with him not dating anyone. She kept saying that his studies were important and that girls were a distraction. The weight training had done him a world of good. He still had a bit of pudge to him, but he was more muscle than fat. He decides to start to head for homeroom when someone crashed into him. Bobby maintained his balance and held on to the other person so that he or she didn't fall onto the floor. He could immediately tell that it was a girl due to the ample chest that was pressed up against his own. He saw that she had a long, thick mane of black hair.

"Sorry," the girl said still not looking up at Bobby. She was blushing from having bumped into a boy while running down the hall, not looking where she was going.

"The homeroom bell hasn't rang yet, so why would you be in such a hurry?"

"I don't want to be late for my first day here...,plus, I'm trying to find my locker."

"What's your number?"

"3223."

"That's next to mine," Bobby answered and lightly pounded against the locker. The girl finally looked up to see where he had pounded. Then, she realized who this boy was that she had crashed into.

"Bobby?"

Bobby looked perplexed for a moment until he realized that she was Asian, a very familiar Asian.

"Connie? What are you doing here? I thought your dad sent you off to some private school."

"He couldn't afford it anymore," Connie said now going over to her locker while trying to shake off her blushing.

"Are you taking all honors classes?"

"Yeah, plus a few AP ones as well."

"When do you have lunch?"

"I've got first lunch."

"Meet me at the cafeteria and will catch up," Bobby said and Connie nodded. At least she had found a familiar face here. She wiped the sweat from her brow wondering if the air conditioner wasn't working.

"You're back wrestling again?" Connie asked. the two were on the roof in a shadowy, cool corner, eating their lunch.

"Yeah, I did it just so I wouldn't have to hear dad complain about me not doing anything."

"It's done you good," she said and then slapped her hand over her mouth realizing her mouth had run away with itself.

"Thanks," he said through a mouth full of food.

"You've got practice today?" she asked once she got herself back under control.

"Yeah, after school," he answered through another mouth full of food. She giggled at his rudeness.

"Can i watch and see if you've improved from the last time we wrestled?" Connie asked and the two started laughing at the memory of their wrestling match.

"Yeah," Bobby answered this time without a mouth full of food.

The pair walked down the sidewalk. Connie had enjoyed watching Bobby during practice. In fact, she had enjoyed watching a little too much. She had tried to shake off those feelings of attraction for him. It hadn't worked back then and it probably wouldn't work now.

"Connie?"

"Mmmm?"

"Uh, do you...,think...,we were too young when we first got together?"

Connie bit her lower lip in thought. Now that she thought about it, they had only been in middle school when they got together.

"We wanted to spend too much time together. We didn't think that spending too much time together would be unhealthy for our relationship," she explained. Bobby tried his best to pay attention to what she was saying. She was in 'brain mode', which hurt Bobby's head to try and understand half of what she was saying a lot of the time. "In other words," she continues, "yes, we were too young."

"Do you think there's still a spark?"

"And why would you ask that?"

"Well, neither of us should be jealous if one of us starts dating someone."

"Oh, and I thought you were with someone." she teased.

"Nah, the girls at Tom Landry are more attracted to the guys on the football team, especially the quarterback."

"Joseph?"

"Yeah."

"Hmm, and just how do you propose we find out if there's a spark?"

"This," he said and leaned in to kiss her. It was a bold move that he wouldn't normally make, but he needed to make sure that he wasn't going to become some jealous friend every time he would see her with another guy. Connie found herself moaning before the two deepened the kiss. Bobby pulled back, watching her catch her breath.

"Hmmm, more like a flame."

"Care to fan that flame Friday night at Sugar Foot's?"

"That's what I like, someone that doesn't feel like they have to impress me with their money, or their dad's money," she said smiling.

He paced in his room, waiting on his dad to get home from work. Hearing the engine of the truck, Bobby quickly, but quietly headed outside so that his mother didn't get suspicious.

"Hey son, how was practice?"

"It went well, Connie's now attending Tom Landry."

"She is?"

"Yeah, her dad couldn't afford to continue to send her to that private boarding school."

"Finally the economy hits that arrogant jackass."

"I need the truck Friday night, I'm taking her to Sugar Foot's."

"You trying to get back with her?" Hank asked now very interested in this new turn of events.

"Yeah, but I'm worried about...,"

"Don't worry about your mother, I'll deal with that," he said and the two went inside.
