Give It Up!
~*Summery*~
This is a tale about Jimmy and Cindy. Over the course of the TV series, they have both given each other major hints and pretty much have told each other, that they really like each other. So... this takes place once they're a little older, in high school to be exact. Around 17-18 years of age. Find out when Jimmy gets tired of Cindy's continued hostile behavior, even after so many years of slip ups and obvious affections.
~*Chapter One*~
They'd traded bodies, again!
It was more then she could have asked for.
She looked in the mirror in his room, openly admiring his face and body.
He'd grown a lot over the years.
He had let his hair grow out a little and didn't keep it up in that stupid style anymore.
The brown, wavy length of it now brushed his ears in a bed-mused mess.
With a glance around, she runs his big hands through his hair and sighed at the feel.
As soft as she'd always thought it would be.
The eyes she now looked out from were the rarest shade of blue and she could look into them for hours. Drowning in their pools.
She placed her hand on his well-toned chest, amazed that he'd have such a lean body when he spent all his time inventing things.
She shivered slightly at her own touch, wondering what those hands would feel like against her skin, once they'd changed back of...
BEEP BEEP BEEP!
Cindy Vortex jerked up straight in her bed, placing a delicate hand against her pounding heart. It was a dream. Just a dream. With a sigh, she slammed her hand down on her alarm clock, grumbling and cussing under her breath about being awoken so soon from her dreams. That had been so hot, looking into Neutron's mirror and able to touch him without regret or shame. Cindy rolled out of her bed, tossing her cream covers out of the way as she did so, and walked over to the huge mirror that hung over her vanity. She was in her own body, unlike in her dream, her blonde locks were mused from sleep and her green eyes were glazed from not being fully awake yet. She plopped down into the chair that was set before her vanity, picking up a hard-bristled brush to comb the knots from her hair till it waved down to the small of her back. Something outside the window just above her bed caught her attention and she turned her head to see what it had been. It was Jimmy Neutron. He was brushing out his wavy brown hair, his muscled chest bare to her wandering gaze. He sure had grown into quite the hottie. Cindy shook her head, blinking as she quickly turned away from the image just outside her window. Why does it have to live across the street from me!? She whined to herself as she quickly finished getting ready for school.
Jimmy looked down at Goddard with a lopsided, boyish smile that came natural to the boy genius. "Well, boy! What do you think?" The mechanical dog barked his approval as Jimmy turned back to his mirror. He had a plan. He was getting tired of Cindy's continued deny to what they knew they both felt. He, himself, had already stopped fighting and only rolled his eyes with a shrug when she got huffy with him. Most the time even walked away from her. Jimmy's mind rolled back to the times he'd flirted with girls in front of her, just to piss her off. Now, he just found it cute instead of annoying when she blew up, chased the girl off, and blustered over her words over her actions. "Goddard! Wish me luck. Today I start the CL Project." Goddard barked again, panting as he wagged his tail. A stupid name for the project, but couldn't think of anything better. CL Project... Cindy's Love Project. The game plan was to treat Cindy was if she really were his girlfriend, which was sure to snap her resolve to continue to act as if she hated him. With another check in the mirror, he happened to glance over and see the very object of his plans standing just beyond her window. Primping and fussing over the style of her hair, till she settled to let it stay loose with her bangs curled to one side. She always looked so beautiful with her hair down and she was definitely looking sweet in the white tank top and blue mini skirt she'd chosen to wear today. "This is going to be great, boy. She looks... wow." Another bark answered the young man as he grabbed up his pack and left his room.
"Oooh!" Cindy continued to fuss with her hair for a moment, finally getting frustrated, she decided to just leave it down and turned her head just in time to watch Neutron leave his room. He was wearing a white t-shirt, today, that was thin enough to show off the muscles he usually kept hidden and blue jeans, that was actually did rather good for his ass, rolled at the hem. "Does he purposely get long pants just to roll them like that?" She asked herself as she sighed with regret at losing sight of him and turned back to the mirror. I hope he likes this. Everyday, she woke up and picked out just the right cloths to drive her big headed love crazy, only to allow her pride and old habit flare up and push him away from her. Only, he'd seemed to be getting more... numb... against her defiance against the love they both knew was there. Actually, he seemed to be growing less tolerant of it. With a soft sigh, Cindy scooped up her pack and headed out the door. Another day at school and maybe, if she was lucky, she could caught Jimmy before he got too far and they could walk together.
At school...
He'd gotten on one of his do-hickies and had made it to school long before her. Cindy gritted her teeth as she walked closer to the school and saw the object of her dreams talking it up with Betty Quinlin. He'd had a crush on her since elementary and it always made Cindy's blood boil. In the middle of her seething, she hadn't noticed that Jimmy had turned toward her with one of those boyish cocky smiles of his. "Hey, baby! 'Bout time you showed up." It wasn't till he'd came over and kissed her cheek that she snapped back to reality and stared blankly at him. Did... he just kiss me? Shocked, amazed, and... just a little freaked by his actions, she took a step back and placed a hand on her cheek. Jimmy chuckled, a warm sound she hadn't heard before... least not when it was directed at her. Cindy watched Betty huff and saunter off, which made her blink, even move confuse. Did he just blow Betty off for... me? This can't be happening. Jimmy put an arm around her shoulder and maneuvered her toward the entrance to the school building and toward their first class. They had three of their four classes together, the only class being their last class. Science. Which he'd gotten into an advance class because of his big brain.
He was pleased; he seemed to have caught her off guard. So she didn't have time to react and put up the blunder she usually did. Jimmy could already hear the rumor starting and he chuckled. 'They finally got over it and got together!' Or 'Did you hear? Neutron and Vortex got together.' Even 'See how Jimmy held her? About damn time!' The plan couldn't be working better... until she recovered and he could almost watch the change in slow mode. She tensed, looked at him with blazing eyes, and batted him away from her. Jimmy only smiled; knowing she was going to snap his head off and she actually did open her mouth to say something, but snapped it shut and took a sit. "Something wrong, sweetie?" It was trading on thin ice to coax her, but he couldn't help it. Just this once and still, she said nothing. Only shot him a glare as he settled into the sit beside her. Another kiss to stir it up more. Jimmy leaned in and planted a kiss on her lips as she turned her head a second time. He hadn't meant to kiss her lips just yet, but now that he'd gotten there, an idea uncurled itself inside his mind. Cindy hadn't moved, still in shock from the contact of their lips, so he moved to the edge of his seat and placed his hand on the back of her head. "This is for years of tormenting me, angel." Jimmy whispered against her lips before kissing her more deeply.
Cindy's mind was screaming. He was ACTUALLY kissing her! Not just a peak on the lips either! She felt her insides melting and she instinctively reached out to grab his shoulders, a lifeline in the emotions she was drowning in. The bliss lasted till the teacher cleared his throat and Jimmy pulled away with a sheepish smile on his face. Or... that's what it was suppose to because it looked smug. As if he'd just done some great thing. "Alright you two lovebirds. Leave that for somewhere OTHER then school." Again, he cleared his throat and they started math class... and the rest of the day went pretty much as a blur.
