*sniff* I think I need a tissue..........bwa-ahha-aha-aha.....that was so sweet. Please write auel uel or something, like a prequel. You've got the emotion there for sure.

I normally wouldn't think of Bushroot as being a good match for Darkwing, but you really pulled it off! The characters really ring true; I can see Bushroot being that needy and Darkwing catching on, despite his massive ego, maybe being just as needy, in his own way, as Bushroot is. It's all so tragic, in the end, knowing that Darkwing died, but there's still a bit of hope too because Bushroot never forgot those words and it gives him something to hang onto, a reason to go on even if it's one day at a time. Very well done!
