I know that not all stories end in happy endings, but this one kind of ended on an empty note. I felt like there was more that needed to be said, and it just died abruptly. Overall I liked the concept, although it was a little dark for my taste (Gary's constant homophobia was pissing me off, and how much they kind of threw Roberto to the sharks and crossed their fingers they could stitch him up). I liked the originality though, so bravo for that.

I really hope the two of them can stay together. Or maybe Puck can come up with a way to allow Roberto to turn gargoyle during the night or something. The lifespans are a bit difficult to figure out if they stay together. Great fic! Please update soon!

Normally I'm not a fan of slash as far as gargoyes goes. But i've gotten sucked in by your story. I really hope to see it completed.
The only review type thing i really have here, is a question, the gargoyles have perhensile tails... (for the most part anyhow) why doesn't brooklyn use his?

I can hardly wait for the next chapter. I has to be a dosey consider all the loose ends you have to tie up. I love how committed Roberto and Brooklyn are to each other despite the opposition they're getting form both sides. Thanks for the great read.

Ahhh, aff.net finally getting its act together (more or less), and me being able to read the latest chapter of this great fic? Awesome.
Just a few things I thought were worth mentioning, just in case you didn't know already:
According to Greg Weisman (series' creator), there are such things as "homosexual Gargoyles". Furthermore, while acceptance and other such nice things may or may not come, at least tolerance would be an overall norm, if it would make so that member of the clan would have a "soul mate" at last.
So, in that light, Goliath flying a bit off the handle on the recent issue seems a bit off-base...was it merely because Brooklyn is infatuated with a human, or just the issue of his second being gay in the first place? You'd think a guy who emphasizes a lot of things about how "Gargoyle ways are not human ways" would at least have a different outlook on homosexuality than most humans do. ^^;
But any way, I'll leave that up to you, the writer to tell the story. Hopefully we can look forward to the next chappy soon!

This was the very first gargoyles fanfic I ever read, and I just adore it! Now I'm disappointed by every other gargfanfic ,no matter which genre, while I'm desperately looking for more. I even love yor original charas, roberto and gary are so much fun. And it's got a really intriguing story, not just some lame excuse for another OC pairing. A staue whose powers are activated through sexual rituals..naughty..and fits so well with robertos seducing powers...I also liked the way you portrayed Owen/Puck, not to mention Brooklyn! The development of their relationship, so cute...and for the last three chapters, I've never read such a well written lemon(I think it's the first good one) and it's not just reduced to sex.You defenitely got it, I mean it's two different species and you make it work. Never would have thougt of such an idea before this story. I can't wait to see goliath's reaction. I'm obsessed with this story, read it all on one day and couldn't get away from the screen.

Wonderful. Just wonderful. I not only love the way you protray Brooklyn but I also fell in love with your original character Roberto. I like the way Brooklyn can be sweet and innocent then strong, protective and beastly the next minute. And although Roberto is describe as looking rather efenimate and delicate he is still quite masculine. Now that the secret out I can't wait to hear everyone reaction. Please update soon.
