I love where the story is headed. I just hope you keep it up. I am a big fan of Tokka stories, so i really want to see this turn out good.

This is a great start to your fic; often while aging the characters many a writer ends up not taking into consideration the existing backstory and cannon and things end up not 'feeling' as if we are reading about the same characters from when they were younger. Sokka's inner dialog while mature is still very much like that of "16 year old TV show Sokka" and the way he and Toph interact does feel like what you'd expect from people who were close and are going about reconecting.

Great pacing! Very much enjoying your take on local color and setting. While this is about adulfanfiction -i.e. erotica- do not feel rushed. While writing my own outlines for adult material it freaks me out that I would be over 3 chapters or 2000 words into the story before someone so as much as feels someone else up. WTH! maybe I'm a romantic at heart or just too much into details, however some of the best fics in this site fall under the "slow boiler" cathegory.

I personally think that Avatar:TLAB is a milestone animated show for American TV, even though it is targeted at the "tween" and younger demographic their capacity to deal with adult issues such as death, loss and love shows that maybe with people such as yourself ready to go into the field of animation, soon Japanese Anime will have nothing on subject matter on US work.
