wow, it's not often i read a story twice and enjoy it a second time, but lo and behold! i guess it's just something about classic myths in combination with zutara and your awesome writing skills. great story!

This is the Best Avatar Fanfic I've read! Who knew Zuko could be so hot? This is a purr-fect read!

I love the mythology twist! I can tell you've done your research *pointing out the obvious* and i'm pleased that you've chosen a different explanation of Hades and Persephone...
Because of my love and interest in History and Mythology I have more of a grasp on the different interpretations on this myth. The whole Greek god family tree is messed up, not to mention their are different accounts of it.
I wonder how many people know that Persephone is Hades Niece? *Refraining from the need to explain in full DETAIL*

I love the four elemental gods and how they all have their specialties, Hakoda's fatherly love, so much like that of Demeters motherly love. The relationship between Zuko and Katara evolving... Its hard to explain how much I appreciate reading this.

Just know that I loved reading this! Its become my favourite!

good luck

Spleefmistress... you are something else when it comes to writing zutara, that was absolutely brilliant, i was a bit hesitant in reading an alternate reality one but well hell, you blew me away from the first chapter. All i can say is well donex1000 I've enjoyed all your stories but this one is right up there as one of my favourites along with the coldfire arc, thank you soooo much for sharing and im looking forward to the next story

i love this story, it's so unique and flows sooo well, not to mention has my favorite pairing in it;)......i'm sad to see it end, but i loved reading it the whole way, i've been following it for a long while now, and i love the way you finished it off. And the way you described the characters was so wonderful, i could clearly imagine them in my head every time!!! You did a wonderful job breathing new life into the old Greek myth of Hades and Persephone, i can't wait to read more of your work in the future, i wish you farewell, and good luck!!

I'm so sad that this story is over. It was my favorite from all your stories. I love the ending. It's in pace with the story and ends on a happy note. I wish you could keep this going forever, but I know reality kicks in. Thank you for such an amazing story. I look forward to the updates for your other stories.

A most righteous chapter in deed Spleef, but I gotta ask the question is this the end of Capture of the Maiden?

If it is I’ll accept and appreciate it either which way. Because when something like this reaches its high point you don’t wanna jump the shark or anything of dat nature, or running on making it a never ending story.

This fic has had a nice beginning, middle, and ending. You know if this is truly the end of the fic.

If you wanna continue or perhaps write an epilogue or something around dat nature be my guest if ya don’t I understand.

I just want to say thank you for writing a fantastic fic filled with love, sex, romance, research, and some actuality.

You have a gift for writing, and I know that you sometimes feel unappreciated for the lack comments posted. Remember this my friend, you write because you can and want to. You share your stories because you want to share them with other readers. You say in your disclaimer that you make no profit off of these fics.

Yet you consider comments and reviews payment/compensation for all of you hard writing.

All I am trying to say is be humble. Your writing no matter how good it may be, is not a duty that you are required to do. You write because you passionate about avatar and the other fics you write. You share your material because you want to share it with other people to read and enjoy.

I am not writing this post as an insult or a barb in anyway. I mean no disrespect.

All I am saying is be humble and grateful, not complainful. Because only God knows when some of those bastards at Viacom may try to takedown your material because of a copyright claim or some bullshit like dat.

So live, write, and take and enjoy what comments & reviews you get from your loyal readers.

I'll post on the other creative elements of this chapter later

But for na dats my take on da matter, as I said before NO DISRESPECT & THANK YOU FOR DA FIC!

So cute and sweet and sexy, I just loved this story. It was so freaking funny picturing Zuko all bundled up and freezing his ass off, that was hilarous. And I'm glad you put in the detail in that he doesn't know how to run in snow and that Katara wasn't wearing mittens.

The cultural dance was great and I loved the details of how it was ladies choice for the evening. And the 'command' snuggling made me laugh out loud that was just so damn cute, I could really hear their voices in my head at that line. And I loved how sweet Zuko was making mental notes to always come for the first day of winter, so cute and sweet.

I really enjoyed this story very much and you ended it on such a sweet and lovely note. Thank you for sharing your wonderful gift with us, you area a skilled wordsmith.
