Even your sentence structure has improved. I'm so proud! (Yes, I'm a mother, and if I get motherly from time to time... Well, that's just tough.) Anyway, this is by far the BEST Avatar fan fiction out there. Are you posting this elsewhere? Are people heaping praise at your feet like a the great conquering author that you are? The originality slays me. This is so masterfully done. To take a classic myth and to apply it to Avatar takes balls and intelligence. Yay for intelligence! One minor nitpick though... The last sentence. "He sighed softly before he whispered his name." Why is he whispering his own name? Anyway, kudos to you on your new masterpiece.

Naughty, naughty Zuko! What will Iroh think when he gets back - he does live with Zuko, right? And I think Aang and Sokka are gonna want to have words as well. And in my wonderings I forgot about Zhao, he still around, or gone with Ozai? And I'm not sure i even want to think about Long Feng in all this! Oh, well, until next chapter. Laters.
