I have been reading your stories in this site. I have to be honest and tell you that even though I like your writing and yes, the sex, for a while now it has been bothering me that more often than not Katara seems to be this crying doormat at the mercy of a very troubled Zuko. From the sheer point of view of character development, I like this story more than any other I have read of yours, by far. You managed to make him understandable, human and fallible while keeping in perspective at all times that he is also basically a good person. Here, she finally keeps her pluck and her spirit throughout the story, being endearingly annoying, like in the show. I like how comfortable you are writing sex scenes, and this one is really good. It is passionate but believable. To the point that the doubts and the tenderness seem to flow naturally. But please don't drag the story too much with her internal doubts. They have been through a lot already. Both deserve some solace and more good sex and, after all, that is also what we the fans like. Some lovely smex, warm happy endings and good distraction from the drudgery of day to day life. Update soon!

Wow. I've been reading this story for quite a while now, although I stopped after ch 11 or 12, where you left off before continuing after the season began. Your story has me at the edge of my seat, mostly this chapter. Its been great, but this one was just awesome. You've made everything fit in perfectly, and I love the way it just keeps on going. My deep apologies for never reviewing, when I began reading Slow Heat I was at the library. And well, you know the drill... Not only did I feel uncomfortable typing in the site name on the browser, but also when the usual "Are you over 18?" question popped up too many people looked my way. But now I have a new laptop, so its all good now! Let me just say that you are by far the best Avatar writer in AFF. Good think you're a Zutarian. lol. Anyways, keep them coming. I'll be waiting faithfully. <3

Nice story

I just read through this whole thing. Haven't read it before because it's not a pairing that I'm a big fan of, but you do the first person narrative thing really well. So I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Personally, I found this story to be truly well done. The way you stuck with the main episodes story lines, then enriched them with your own is wonderfully constructed. The dialog and extra events are believable and enjoyable. I hope you will continue it.

This was the way the Puppetmaster epi. should have gone. I loved the face biting, nice touch, and the fight was off the hook great.

I like the type of different women Zuko's thinking of, its nice for him to appricate the female forn in all its gueises. Love the 'hiss of apprecation', and adore him hissing flame. I so think of that as your trademark Zutara style, love it. I like the 'gently rumpled hair' cute and tender. I love you showing Zuko's tender side in delicate niblets, not too much but enough to totally keep him in character.

The bit with Toph was very sweet and very well done. I'm adoring this story and can't wait for the next instalment. If you felt like giving us a nibble on LJ like you did last time that would be awesome. I was totally rereading that part till this chapter came out, yummy, yummy, yummy.
