Wow, really invigorating story!
I found myself really interested in the characters, their relationships and even the Zuko/Aang bits despite the fact I usually avoid those stories. Not homophobic just not my kettle of fish.
I think you really have a talent for writing.

Oh gosh I absolutely fell in love with this story I love it and it's amazing I realllly hope there's more soon the anticipation is killing me!

Hmmm....
this is shaping up very nicely.
Interesting take on things though your chapters seem to be getting shorter and more narrow as they shift to focusing primarily on the relationship between characters. Have the world they're in intrude again or set them up with in once more (like the dinner) with meetings, perhaps to view a show of swordsmenship or soudatsu (martial arts contest -with real weapons-)
Though things are taking place in Fire Country exclusively, what of the of the Earth Kingdom territories (ignoring Ba Hsing Se) which are ruled by "kings" or generals in charge of the army, or the Water Tribe living at either polar cap ? Unless of course you bring them all to the capital..
Whatever happens, I hope to see more soon.

you know, as much as i hate to admit it, i really like this story. you've got azula's character down personally - i can really believe it. the aang/zuko thing is eh, and zuko's a little soft for me, but otherwise good work... keep it up, can't wait for the next chapter.
