This story singlehandedly turned me into an Iroh/June shipper.

I really liked this. It's not 100% how I see June, but she had a small part so I think there are plenty of ways to see her, and I love the idea of her hooking up with Iroh. It was very moving the way they each shared tenderness in their own way. The description of the sex was hot and really kept me reading. I didn't think it was "dark" either, just rather sad. But then being in the Silent Hill fandom has probably skewed my definition of "dark."

really good story

Wow! I avoided this story for so long, not really sure why but boy was I missing out. I had never really enjoyed a story with June until now. This was a fantastic story. Your portrayal of Iroh was beautiful. Your take on June was great, I really enjoyed the softer side you had her guarding so fiercely. The ending was touching. Before I had finished reading I already had begun imagining Iroh tracking her down after the war. You are a true master, thank you.
