Hmm, multi-year jump, huh? Okay, makes sense. Nice pick-up. the twins going into their teens is interesting. Poor Sokka, did Ozai have anything to do with this? Or the Kroni from afar to try and break their spirits? Though I suppose it makes sense, given his previous condition and all. Well, still looking forward to more. Laters!

Whoa!
I just finished reading your story, and I absolutely love it! I usually don't like first-person narration, but you capture the characters excellently, and portray their thoughts and emotions very clearly. I really like your writing. Even though I prefer to ship Kataang, the emotion you put into Zuko and Katara's relationship here is awesome.
Sorry to hear about all your surgeries, and I hope that you're hands and wrists will become better.
As long as it's not going to kill your hands, and you find time, MOAR!

Ah, a nice slow moment. Yeah, I think I can see where Katara was coming from in regards to scrubbing the twins clean. And finally Zuko's got all, or at least most, of his memories back, so that should help. Well, take your time on the final act, and I look forward to what's most likely left of Ba Sing Se. Laters.
