Review of SpleefMistress' story "Kiss of Fire"

To start out, your prologue and opening was not as eye catching or trapping as it was in COTM.
In COTM the prologue itself caught me and I couldn't stop reading.
It is a rather good one here, but there is always room for improvement. :3

Katara's dead!?!? Oh no!

Okay, the opening of Chapter 2... THAT REALLY makes me want to read on.
Hmmm.... That is something I've noticed... Everyone is looking beyond Zuko's scar.
Like it doesn't affect who he is, but I guess that's an entirely different discussion.
I'm liking how you are incorporating the idea of reincarnation into this story. It brings a nice touch.
"what was rightfully mine" ... uh oh, I sense a forbidden romance ...XD

I don't like the way Zuko threatens Katara in chapter 2.. it seems unlike him.
Kamas is a nice touch. He seems a wise advisor


That is something I keep noticing in your stories. A man falls in love with the woman. The woman doesn't want it at first but grows to love him back. :3

You're writing of Enki is much better in this chapter. He's less stupidly childish and more menacing :) Jeez, he's such a jerk!
Poor Kuzon! Oooh, I hope Enki recieves a...just punishment for his cruelty. Preferibly delt out by Muimi. After all, he messed with *her* baby. Nobody messes with Kuzon, not even the boy's father.

Wow, nice work, this is definatly not your run of the mill Zutara. Though I have to say after watching tonights Avatar, I kinda feel guilty for hoping for this pairing now. When I thought Aang was ment to be alone, I didn't feel to bad, Zuko got Katara, and Sokka took Toph. Now I wanna kick myself, because I'm still hoping for it, and the new episode showed me different. Though the twist in there I would not have seen coming if I had writen it myself, talk about weird.

Fhaven is down, I didn't know where to find your stuff. But I found it again, so that is good. Aaar! Stupid Earth King! I can't believe that the bastard is related to Bumi. May I hope that this will bring Avatar Aang into the fray? Possibly Toph Beifong? Or Sokka? I've been wondering since you started the story what will happen when more people who knew Katara meet Miumi. And poor Kuzon! No! Your Mama will keep you safe! Sorta! Please update soon, I'll go mad with the need to find out what happened. Thanks for updating, great chapter.

this story is sooooo good. i didn't want to get too involved the last time i read it, which was about a month ago, b/c i thought u wouldn't update it. but now that u have, i can't WAIT for the next chapter.
