I read this a long time ago and it has stuck in my mind ever since. While going through these stories I found it again. It is a beautiful story, very heartfelt and wonderfully emotional. If there is a sequel or will be one, please let me know. You've got a great start and a wonderful talent, keep up the great work :D

This story was fantastic. I have to say, it's rare to find someone who can write Aang the way I imagine him - pleasant, optimistic, but not so much naive; he's aware of how much responsibility lies on his shoulders, and I honestly believe that's why he can become so quietly depressed from time to time. His contemplation of Zuko was well-done, thoughful; the recap of the battle magnificent. This is the most enjoyable take on this episode I've ever read.
I can't honestly say that I saw the 'shounen-ai' in the story, but the desire for friendship rang wonderfully true. Thank you for a wonderful introspective story, so rare in this series' fandom.

Beautiful writing, I love how you captured Aang's personality in this piece. It has a lovely amount of depth to it and it leaves me quite craving for more (as well as pull at my heartstrings). Which is what a fanfiction should to.
