Hot, hot, hot, hot, hot!!!

You know, I do believe that that was the best Zutara sex scene that I have ever seen ANYWHERE.

Hi there again... well, where to begin. I'm very much a fan of hot water and your other stories, but this alternate timeline doesn't set well with me. I think it is mostly because Katara seems so helpless, and the avatar too for that matter. I think he would probably have fought to the death rathar than allow Katara to fall back into Zuko's hands, given the limited information he had. Zuko also seems too hard, ruthless and cruel here. I would think that he has too much personal honor to take someone against her wishes, especially after she purposefully left him in the first place. To me, a few years of reflection on how he had initially treated her - as a possession - should have made him consider a while before repeating the same mistakes that he made initially. If you had played that scenario out different, perhaps by having Zuko 'ask' instead of 'take', I think it would have made for a fantastic story, with plenty of angst for all to share without taking anyone too far out of character. As it is, you have three characters who, to me, aren't acting at all like one would expect them to. I hope you don't take this the wrong way - it's just one reader's opinion after all.

Nice chapter! I find myself constantly laughing at how chauvanistic Zuko is, and just how stubborn he is about owning Katara. Because I suppose that's how real male chauvanists think, and it blows my mind.
Aang's own possessiveness is a nice turn on things too. It says a lot about Katara's personality too - maybe she really likes being taken care of, but won't admit it. She's as stubborn as Zuko some days. 8 )
Can't wait for the next.

Zutara sweetness! I'm glad Zuko got it together. Yeah, Aang may be a sweetheart but in this story he's...just as possessive as Zuko but not as trusting of Katara's abilities, though neither of them seem to listen too well...>sigh< I was SOOOOOOOOOO happy to see that you'd updated! Out of curiosity...if/when Zuko and Katara get to Sozun will Zuko have to formally "marry" Katara? Or otherwise say "Hey! This's my wife! So THERE!" to the court? YAY for happy snugglyness! Can't wait to find out what will happen next! Excellent job! ^-^
