I don't think Pakku was OC. Snarky people have their tender moments after all. :)
Thank you for another wonderful chapter.

Yeah...you know what would be REALLY disturbing? Paku having /children/. Can you imagine having HIM for a dad? (or having to have his babies? >twitch<)
Here's a Super Crack pairing for you: JeeXsomebody(Zuko? The Helmsman? Jun?). (Jee? Ji? however the hades you spell it! That guy with big grey sideburns that grouses about Prince Zuko in The Storm). >_< I should not be encouraged...really. I'm going to stop now...sorry...^_^'''''''

When I first saw the pairing for this I must admit I was very disturbed...>_< The thought is still convulsion-inducing...but it's such a good piece of writing that I read it anyway. Just a thought: Katara's necklace (the one Paku originally made for Kana) was valuable to her because it belonged to her mother, not her grand mother (In Episode 6 she did say somthing along the lines that it was all she had left of her mother). While Katara wuold certainly appreiciate the new necklace I don't think she'd be too crazy about seeing her mothers necklace tossed into the drink...
Excelent writing though...very well written. I have to admit, though I would never see this pairing actually happening, you make it very plausable and believable...^-^

You’re right—you’re on some might strange stuff. >_<; But it’s good stuff none the less! ^_^
Pakku and Katara... an interesting combination that has some strange and twisted things that can happen. Both their personalities are also rather good. Pakku is an elder man set in his ways with a young wife who he doesn’t really know how to communicate with, and Katara is a mature yet temperamental young woman who has an older husband who she doesn’t really know how to communicate with. Makes for some delicious mess ups.
Hahn’s a lovely scapegoat that I whole heartily approve of. I would like to see more of him getting his comeuppance from Katara and Pakku.
I do have some questions though, where’s Sokka? And Katara’s father? Who else might you be bringing into the story? Or are other known ones going to make more appearances? Admittedly there aren’t any more canon characters with names from the North Pole that you can use, but there’s the option of original characters or travellers... hum... makes one wonder how Haru these days.
Looking forward greatly to the next chapter and I hope this review finds you pleasantly high and drugged up on writing.
