Yes, I'm a hardcore yaoi fan, but I do enjoy het also... just... yaoi more... so yeah. ^_^ Aaaaaaaaanyway...
I thought this was a nice chapter! Tak is the one that's being arrogant in this situation, and she knows it! *snicker* "Oh, I don't need Zim..." *snicker* riiiiiiiight... XD
anyway, not to bore you, but I had the funniest experience today: I was at the Taco Bell, trying to get my food, and the guys in there screwed up my order.. I politely asked if they could fix it, and the guy at the cash register said "No, that's what you ordered, sir" and I said "No, I ordered (blah blah blah), now could you please change my order?" and he said "We already made the food, just eat it!" and then, I got angry... I took the money shouted "SHUT YOUR NOISE TUBE, TACO HUMAN!" and threw the money (it was paper, I knew it wouldn't hurt XD) at him. Even though those people were mean to me (O_o) and I was in a VERY bad mood already, I thought I shouldn't have done that...
but it was pretty funny ^_^
and your chapter on SoF cheered me up... yay!

Heh...machinations. I love that word. You have no idea. Ever since they threw it into Legacy of Kain to fit their "big word criteria", it just makes me giggle to see it for no apparent reason.

*gasp!* I get a dedication in Vindication?! YAY!!!!!! *lurve* Awesome!!!
I liked this chapter quite a bit... the drama in it was extremely tense, and, of course, the "imperfect sex" scene was rather enjoyable too. Though I prefer yaoi to het (I wonder how you'd figure that out? ^_^;; ), this is probably the best het story I've ever read... Unless you consider Goddess Rising as a het story, because of that one chapter... O_o
Gah! Hindsight is always 20/20... *refrains from cueing the Megadeth song* They're my favorite band nowadays... you should check them out... that scares me... when you said "Hindsight is 20/20" that verse popped RIGHT into my head from "Sweating Bullets", a song about schizophrenia. That's truly disturbing... in a good way.. ...
