I'm a sucker for happy endings, but I like realism in my fic, too. This seems very plausible -- that the 'moment after' wouldn't go smoothly, that despite Richie's 'girly' crying, both of them are acting like teenager boys in the land of Denial. I hope to read Virgil's POV soon.

Oh man that was great! I like the emotional aspect and the fatc that you didn't go overboard with it! Sometimes things do change for the worse when friends try to climb to the highest rung on the ladder. That did not make sense at all, but I'm senseless anyway!
