I was very pleased to see Dib grow a bit of backbone. Sub/Dom is always fun, but if it's taken to extremes in a fic it becomes rather dull to read after awhile.
I wonder if this is a step closer to Zim treating Dib like an eqaual...or a step back.
I'm sorry to hear that your ill. Rest up and don't force anything, I for one would be willing to wait for a chapter or two before I combust in anticipation.
Get well soon!

YES! Dib grew a backbone! XD I've been wondering what Zim would do if Dib ever fought back. But I wonder what it's gonna cost him? The great and mighty invader Zim is not one to be denied. What will Zim do to his former little human concubine? I wanna thank you for updating this most awesomest fic, even though you're sick, and hope you get better soon! ^-^

So is Dib's fate to be a martyr? What a trooper... but surely Zim won't allow the puny human government to take his slave away? Or will he decide the Dib's expendable?

There is something almost sweet, in a Zim-ish way, about him telling Dib about all of that stuff (Even if he left out the part about always getting his Tallest eaten by blobs...) If it was from anyone else it'd be shrug worthy, but because it's Zim, a paranoid little alien with some serious attachment issues, it's more than that.
*Sigh* And of course now Dibby is upset. He shouldn't be, he should just realize that Zim is Zim and that's how he relates. Ohwell...

Lovely suspense in this chapter. You seem to put every genre in your story and do it perfectly, I was holding my breath through this chapter and cringed slightly when Dib got caught. When you can get reactions out of your readers I think that's when you succed very well at writing. :)

Wow, it was so nice to see a bit of the history of the other tallests. I know which episode that was from and it was so sad that it didn't get fully made.
You went a bit deeper with the character development in the chapter and it clearly showed as in they were able to hold more of a conversation than in the usual chapters. It was nice to see Zim actually allow Dib to help him rather than let his ego stand in the way, and Dib grew a bit more of a backbone as well it seems.
I really hope you feel better *hugs*

I was a bit worried you weren't gonna update today, of course I have no idea what scheduale you are on so where you live could be hours from what i'm thinking. It just worries me when an author doesn't update cause they then just kind of forget about their story and this story has become an enjoyment that I like reading each day.
It's sad to see Dib being pushed away from Zim so much, but it's so understandable because of Zim's character. It's the reason why I don't like all those mushy ZADRs, they just aren't believable enough. You seem to be hitting the nail on the head so well with how Zim is developing, that when and if the time ever comes for Zim to accept emotions in the near future of the story, I think us as the readers could accept it as him being in character.
Can't wait for the next chapter.
