Great chapter. It's nice that you kept it interesting by switching between Zim and Dib's constant interaction as well as the political part. The end was nice as well, keeping Zim's mood swings up even after he gets what he wants is just like him. Of course he does seem to have a bit of a heavy burden when it comes to his race in this story which makes it even more interesting to think about.

You know my feelings on the newest chapter, but I still wanted to give you a review because I thought it was the right thing to do, and tell you that everything is turning out great. You have a knack for being able to keep Zim in character no matter the situation :)

I esp liked Dib's character in this. He's becoming more bold and Zim's allowing it. I think they're both progressing nicely.
I'd say more, but yet again I'm running the risk of latness at work.

And cue Dib ruining the moment again. Ah, well; it's all but impossible not to in the presence of one like Zim, I guess. He'll get over it, I'm sure. He's just moody. Hehe...
I enjoyed Dib's comment about the Canadian having the only sense in the whole room; it's all too true, isn't it? And I'm sure, had he been really paying attention, President man (if he reflects our current one at all, anyways) would have been appalled at the fact that the world was being bombed and taken over by a homosexual boy and alien. Which is why the fact that Zim had his hand up Dib's shirt during the call appealed to me so, I think. In your face, homophobic jerks. Heh.

Oh, wow. I'm all psyched and pumped up now; I can't help but thinking this chapter had to be one of the best sex scenes yet. And it was dedicated to me! *Squeals in a very fangirl-ish way*
Ahem. Now that that's out of the way. I felt this was a very, veeeery nice chapter, and definitely one of the best so far. I loved the fact President Man could see them only as a kid and a person in an alien costume, for some reason; it seemed to sum up the great ignorance and stupidity of their world very effectively, to me, as he could only see what he wanted to see, even in the face of such danger. And so arrogant, too; it was hard not to want to see them all get bombed after such a display.
...And then, there was the sex scene. I'm almost beyond words when it comes to that. Ahh, great stuff, that. I think I'm still too stunned from it to make an intelligent comment on it, just yet. Just...wow.
I do so love this story.

Ooh... Zim, a tallest? I must agree I like the sound of that, if only because we fangirls have a tendency to enjoy such things. And quite the interesting turn of events it's beginning to take at such a prospect.
I enjoyed the interaction in this chapter as well; though the affection may be subtle (at times), it's clearly there, and after all the time and build-up it took to get there, it's all too gratifying. Wonderful, how you have kept the boys so like themselves, so in-character, and managed to make it all so plausible all the same.
On another note, I'm very sorry to hear about your unfair dismissal. Even if it will do little good, I do hope things look brighter for you, and soon.

Once again sorry to hear about the job, fuck them all I say, but I have a crude attitude ;)
You surprised me with this chapter and i'll tell you why, because you started with what I thought was the main plot(and i'm sure still is), but then you surprise me with another twist which is a thought of overthrowing the tallest. You have kept this story up for so long and can still keep people(like me) shocked/surprised, that's quite a feet. I see great stories that get up to 20 some chapters and loose their zest. This is a great change from that. :)
