Just wanted to thank you for this fic. It's the first one I found after viewing Invader Zim for the first time. Despite the shortness of chapters, this fic is incredibly wonderful, and I'm enjoying reading it, even if I have to bounce off the walls waiting for the next chapter update. ^_^

Sorry it's taken me a while to review. Darn net was down yesterday and all this morning.
Anywho, as to the last chapter. I had to smirk at the 'dead parrot'. "It's dead!", "No, it isn't." hee. Long live Monty Python.
I'm surprised they tolerated Austraila's and the U.S.'s ass'ness. I would have loved to seem them blow up at least a part of Austraila or the U.S. in retailiation. How about Nebraska! (no offence to any locals there)
This chappie: Ooh, angst. Knew this was going to happen at some point. Can't all be roses, (despite the thoughtful gift), can it?
can't wait to see what you have in store!

This is what we've all been waiting for i'm sure. I was definatly biting my nails through most of this chapter, and cursing Zim slightly for his stupidity. You make me feel so much emotion for the characters which is a great thing, because it's as if the story is such a real thing. :)

Firstly, I apologize for not getting to review on the other chapters for a while. School just started for me again, and things have been somewhat hectic. I loved them, though, I'll tell you that much. Only the OVERWHELMING GRIEF-Y PAIN!! of this chapter just erased everything I was going to say about them, so you'll have to bear with me on that one. Apologies, anyway.
Oh, God. This chapter literally caused me pain. My chest clenched up just reading it, like I could actually feel Dib getting crushed. Even if it pained me further, I found Dib's sudden bitterness to be a great touch; somehow more effective than a more outwardly-hurt reaction, like crying, could have been, I think. And the way you put it together--starting off with a light mood, the rose seen at first as a promise for a romantic and sweet scene ahead, only to have it turn around sharply into something completely different and unsuspected--made for a stunning (not to mention achingly shocking) chapter. The little sadist in me squeals in delight at all the drama. Though, really, I'm miserable all the same for Dib--for both of them, really. I look forward to the next chapter, especially with all this now hanging over their heads...

ALRIGHT! YOU TELL HIM, DIB! SHOW THAT BIG BAD ALIEN INVADER YOU'RE NOT HIS TOY ANYMORE! XD
Eh-heh...sorry about that ^^; It just hurt to see Dib repeatedly humiliate himself just to please an arrogant, cold hearted bastard. But now confusion has been thrown into the mix. Being in love means being vulnerable, and thus Zim's pride won't let him admit to it. Seeing as how Dib is still technically Zim's slave, I see a world of hurt heading for that poor human boy... Ah, please let me be wrong! And I can't wait for your next update! :D
