I can tell that it's going to have to turn out kind of like the water spirit episode in order for Zuko to get out of this. Aang and Soka are going to have to escape from the Firelord, not Zuko. then Ozai's a public idiot, and Zuko gets to smirk evilly.

He's a good smirker.

That was amazing i must say i am a big fan of yours your stories are so detailed and sound so real as if i was reading the avatar series themselves. And the first story Cold Fire really sounded real for a minute there while i was watching the episode where Katara finds the water scroll and gets kidnapped by the pirates i really did think that Zukko took katara to his ship and that he really did take her maidenhood from her that night. If only though. I can't wait for the next chapters to come out hope they are as good as the first eleven.

really great story. i love how katara and zuko slowly develop their relationship with each other. awesome story! one of the best i've read so far.

Egad, you're really the best in the business!! Perfect plotline, great organization. About how many chapters are you planning on going with this? I wish it would go on forever! Keep up the good work! :D

I normally don't care for zuko/katara fics... not that I don't adore zuko, I just prefer to see Katara with Aang. However, this story has made me reconsider my opinion on Zuko/Kat. You spin a great yarn, and are perhaps one of the best fanfiction writers I have seen in this sadly underrated genre. ATLA is perhaps the BEST American cartoon I've seen in a very long time, and it rivals some of the best anime out there for content and storyline. In fact, I'd even go so far as to say it has the potential to be even better than Inuyasha or Rurouni Kenshin. Unfortunately, right now it is mostly popular with kids between the ages of 5-12 (In fact it was my 6 year old who got me interested in the show!) Perhaps after a few seasons people will realize that there is a quality toon on primetime 'nick to draw inspiration from, instead of waiting for adult swim on 'toon or downloading badly subbed anime off the net. Then maybe there will be more quality fanfiction to choose from. Until then, you are definately setting the standard for quality ATLA fanfiction! :)
