I'm so glad it's finally finished! The "mine!" "no, mine!" scene was awesome. This is definitely much better than the older version, though I did enjoy that as well. Thank you for yet another wonderful story! :D

so i read volcano and know now about the significance of the mark but upon rereading i realise that there were huge hints and i am feeling very slow right now XD
btw this story actually seems better this... how is that possible

by the way, THANKYOU for the whole pregnancy thing being a false alarm. i was so annoyed when i thought her illness was leading up to that and then she thought she was and i was sooo frustrated i mean she is only 14 and he 17 that would have been such a stupid road to go down and too many zutaras take that road but thankfully you have proved once again that you are amazing and incredible and i totally LOVE you for writing what i consider to be the BEST fan fic i have ever read.

Of course i am going to read volcano and yes it will probably be awesome but still... i will only be half alive until hot water is completed so please put me out of my misery and update soon.

also could you possibly invent a horrific death for kougyu??? like what you did to ozai but more gory because he is one disgusting character. i hope i am spelling the name write but i am too tired to go back and check.

also the err... water whip scene was very amusing. much rofling to be had XD

i've said it before but i will say it again, the way you write is so clear. action flows, dialogue flows, characters are alive it is just simply awesome.

i can not thank you enough for the cold fire arc.
i am new to your works and i am not really into shipping but wow! i am completely sold on your zutara. i simply can not express how amazingly awesome the hot water book is. thankyou sooo much for making my life brighter. i am up to the part where katara has been hiding Ozai's concubines' rooms. so good how you incorporated the sister of zhao. I desperately want to read the rest but its 3 mins to midnight and i have to get up early for work tomorrow. still, i just had to review.
i do have two quibbles though.
on the ship when you refer to the 'dock' do you mean 'deck' or is it an american word that is lost on me as a non-american? Also, i've noticed that instead of saying "an apple" you write "a apple" is that too an American thing?
Also, on the ship, Iroh gave katara a gorgeous robe, was that zuko's mother's? that bit went over my head i think.
You have everyone so in character it is just so amazing.
Thankyou for following this story right to the end so that they actually arive in the firenation. it was awesome reading about zuko returning victorious. i loved the descriptions of the opulent palace life.
omg so stressful when zuko sees aang all abused! so glad that he has come to his senses!
can i say again just how much i love your Zuko! he is incredible great. brooding and tender and saturnine and just basically dark in the way that we all love him to be XD
i suppose azula would probably have ruined the story but i cant help but wonder whether she would have created another interesting dynamic.
i feel like i could go on and on about this story (and i probably will do so tomorrow much to the chagrin of all around me)i mean it is actually as fantastic as the actual cartoon (though in many ways it actually surpasses it)

thankyou so much for this it is seriously quality and fills me with utter joy. i could only read two chapters this morning so i will be dying to read this by the time i get home from work and i can't wait. I can't believe how many chapters there are and none of them disappoint or feel like fillers. does the world of fanfiction have awards or competitions cos you deserve some kind of recognition for this.

I can't wait to read the rest of this fic! You have a very well thought out story! I do have one question. At one point Iroh asks Zuko if Katara knows what the mark means. He says she doesn't. I never saw what it means. Did I skip a section or a chapter? I have a 3 year old so it is entirely possible that overlooked it.
