If I were to do that, though, then the story would be ruined for everyone. Sorry if it bothered you, but if you're depressed then you should get out and try to occupy yourself away from the computer. Being a depression sufferer myself, I can tell you that zoning out in front of the computer is NEVER a good idea.
If you want a more lighthearted story, then check out the sequel to this one, Megami Joushou. I never intended to end the whole saga with this story arc.

k ur story was good but.....please HUDGE character death warnings-ur obviosuly a writer but some ppl have a bad enough depression to deal with. lol god im gonna me depressed for like-too long XD perhaps u could be swindled into writing...something cherrier-even an alternative ending that wasnt as bad? lol sry its just ughhh... depressed now

I felt I owed you this review. I needed to tell you, that you have OFFICIALLY written the BEST FANFICTION I have EVER read! I came on here, quite literally, to read about random Dib/Zim yaoi. What I got out of this was indescribably better (although those yaoi scenes WERE top-notch). You are definitely the most talented writer on this site. I swear to God, I just finished reading the story... I cried. I effin' bawled. I sobbed all over my keyboard and my father came in wondering what the hell was wrong with me for crying over a fanfiction. This is definitely the best fanfiction that has ever graced any fanfiction site in the universe. This has to be recognized, some way, somehow... I just don't know how...

Wow, that had me in tears... they.... died! EEPS! WHYYYYYYY?????????????????????
But it was a very sweet, bitter story. I like that they became war heros... of sorts. Martyrs, for sure. Sad that the Irkens died out of all existance though. Oh, PLEASE say that Valerie had Dib's daughter or son... Preferably daughter. She HAD to have been pregnant.... they had sex... it would be... fitting. If The Dib had a child, then he'd still be around in a sense. Also, I say daughter, because a girl can truely pass on her bloodlines through any child she births. And most always think that boys must be the firstborns and heirs and all that jazz, so I think a daughter would be cool. But a Son would work too, I can see just as many good reasons for a son. But I DO think you should have included a paragraph or two in Chapter 11 mentioning a child born, if the timing was right... otherwise, a mention in the epilogue would be neat. They HAD to have HAD a child! I was hoping you'd have gotten that through, since that WAS kinda the reason for her 'mating' with Dib.

wonderful wonderful story It is very well writen and a very good plot its a beautiful love story to. The only thing that bugs me is, Valiarie said she slept with Dib to save the human race. Doesnt that mean she got pregnet? Did she have a kid....HEY THAT WOULD MAKE A GOOD SEQUAL...Val ha the kid and he/she finds Tak and they fall in love! that could work you can steal my idea if you want because you are a wonderful story writer

By the way, any ideas on:
1) How one could get Zim and Tak to 'get along' (non-sexually).
2) What would it take to end Zim and Tak's fued? I'm working on a fic where I don't want them to remain enemies. But I know Irkens hold major grudges for years, as Tak proves-afterall, she held a grudge for over fifty years or so... Therefore, IF Irkens hold grudges that long, then how the heck would Zim and Tak get along and work together? I don't expect them to become the greatest of friends, or get intimate with one another, but I do think they could get along and maybe come to accept one another. What do you think?
3) What's your take on Irken culture? Would they have thespians? Musicians? Artists? Or are they lacking in theater/actors, artist/sculptors, musicians/singers, etc?
4) Irken History: What do you think might have led to the 'Control Brain' ruling Irkens? Its my theory that they are all 'grown' and used to orders from what you could call 'birth'. Therefore, few really know what 'freedom' means. They expect to follow orders all their life. To appeal to their people, to make themselves 'superior'. Supposedly, the 'Control Brain' had saved their race from dying out, from what I've heard... I have to research this more. What do you suppose? How did SHE (the Control Brain) end up controlling the Irken race?
5) Irken breeding: How do you think it went from (most likely) a pairing of male and female, and creating one or so offspring... to Irken 'Children/Smeets' being grown in a 'nursury/test tube' and 'revived' when the time was right?
6) What do you think of Irken 'Heat' cycles? (As in somewhat more like dogs, and other animals or, if you're familiar with Star Trek's Vulcan 'heat' cycles.) Would they have such? Or would they be capable of mating any time? Would, despite the probability that ALL Irkens are 'grown' in test tubes, there be the chance that individual Irkens still COULD mate and produce a Smeet the "Old way"?
7) What are male and female Irken sex organs like? What's your take on them? (I'm really not sure what they could/would be like).

I try to go for accuracy and as close to cannon myself.
