I came into this story thinking it would be slightly better than average and I'm glad to say that I was completely wrong. I'm not gonna preach or anything but I will say that the problems you have addressed here are very real. It's a sad truth but it is a reality all the same. Thank you for putting together such a masterful tale about sexuality, mental anguish, self-love and friendship. Wonderful Job.

I'm very impressed. I'm tempted to say that this is the only serious story I've seen on AFF.net, but that would be a bit of a stretch.
Even so, it's nice to see something other than the absurd amounts of slash and PWP stories. This was well thought out, and although there's no way in hell that it could be true, you played off of the traits that were there to make it seem possible. I also want to thank you for bringing to light the serious problems that our casual hipocracy causes...it's too easy to think that these rabid puritans are just spouting their moral agenda rather than realize that they use it as an excuse to use, abuse and control people in far more hideous ways than the "sins" that they are trying prevent. *shudder*
I found this valuable because I consider myself a bit of a sex fiend, but still have the nasty aftertaste of a childhood in a catholic home, raised by a prude. This was a good reminder to bury the past and be myself :)

Cute! I could actually see the tv show reeling as I read. Very good at capturing theractracters, and nice "touch" with the sister bonding. Now, what is next for Daria? Hmm...

A really funny story, that aside form the the graphic scenes, could almost be an episode of the show. I could almost see most of the charcaters acting like this. Upchuck probably does sneak into the girl's locker room. The ending was really good, I'm glad Daria got over her fears about her own body, many teenagers have gone through stuff like what her parents did to her.

I browsed through most of the Daria fanfics. This was the only one that kept my attention all the way through.
It's also the only one that stayed pretty true to the characters.
I was surprised not to see any Sick Sad World references... especially when I thought of one halfway through.
"Bad monkeys and the people who spank them, next on Sick Sad World!"
All in all though, a very VERY good effort.

Wow, i mean seriously wow. That was one heck of a fic to read. I started it at eleven and its now half past midnight! It was so good that i stayed up way too late for my early start tomorrow. Ive never thought there could be much to a Daria fanfic but you've changed my mind!
Really good job, was that point clear? :D
