I just thought this was such a cute fic. Red and Purple are so fun to toy with. I only recently saw some of the series, and they were my favorite characters. It would have been interesting to see what might have happened if Purple did keep just ONE egg and raise it with Red. Great fic!

Wow! That's an interesting idea. Very original, certaintly. Heh, Zim was born from Purple's egg goo mess! Gotta love the irony. The bit about the old instincts of parenting were a nice touch, AND it explained why the Tallest didn't just kill the little bugger. Ah, poor Zim.

I question your experiance with the show, since you spit upon most of the rules. Putting aside the "no genetalia" rule that obviously must be ignored, your ignoring the facts that Purple, Red and Zim are about the same age, there are clearly defined male female Irkens (the difference primarily in the eyes, observe Ten and Tak as the most prominent examples) that would make your hermaphrodic sex theory unlikely. If you want to make a yaoi fic, just make a fucking yaoi fic. And try not to make it utterly implausable.

This was hilarious. And actually managed to be slashy while completely in character. Your ending made more sense than the usual "the Tallest are purely evil" thing people sometimes have going in their fics.... The way you tied the end back to the beginning of the series completely took me by surprise.
Your narrative was pretty cohesive. Beginning, middle, and end stuck together well. And your explanations about the mating season and the fake holiday and everything--pretty cool there. Fit in nicely.

OH-HO! Smelly Herring?! Good thing I fancy fish. (Anyone strikes up any lesbian comments, and I start the killing) Good girl, you should write Tallest smut more often, it makes me smile.
